They should atleast do better with the legends then. Not many kids are running to target/Walmart looking for Hogans, warriors, macho man etc. Mattel is cutting corners and everybody keeps feeding them money. I’ll just keep buying, opening and if they’re shti, I’ll pack it back up and return it until I find one worth a damn. Or just email mattel with a whole ahh list of figures I got messed up and get a refund on every one of them. Going to be Mattel’s loss in the end. This is often the thought by those who don’t have kids Does a kid want say orton in black trunks and a black sleeveless hoodie, or warrior with bright colours, facepaint and tassels looking like a mad superhero Which catches a grandparents attention looking for a figure for little Jimmy? Kids do want legends. There’s also the network and wwe YouTube shows a lot of footage of these wrestlers so to say kids don’t know who they are isn’t correct. If put my 8 year olds knowledge of 1990-96/97 up against most people Back onto the subject of QC - either I’ve been INCREDIBLY lucky (300+ figures lucky) or I’m not looking hard enough because unless I’m being VERY (some may say unduly) critical then I’d say Mattel’s quality is very good. Mid you want sonething perfect then there’s lines which go £200 / £300 figures which might be what you’re after / not a £30 toy This, my son who's 8, some of his favorite figures is his new ultimate Hogan, and warriors he has.

Mine seems fine. Can’t say I’ve ever had that issue with an ab crunch. Sometimes I’ll get the occasional ankle that won’t hold a good pose. I’ll just reverse the stand onto the ankle that is good.

Never run into an ab-crunch issue personally, but I have noticed an uptick in figures where the legs are so stiff on opening that any attempt at moving the joint feels like the leg will snap right off. (Yes, yes, I know to boil water, but it's the principle)

My Elite Wrestlemania 39 set is pretty poor....
- Macho Man has a wonky right leg that doesnt rotate at the hip properly. - swapped out the Rock's right hand and the open hand is all floppy at the wrist - Hogan had blue paint on the underside of his boas that stained his right bicep with some blue dots

(Yes, yes, I know to boil water, but it's the principle) I’ve got almost 400 figures, only issues I’ve had here lately was the loose ab crunch . I got one the other day where I had the issue like you do with the legs, but it was both arms, and I did the hot water thing and that worked. But I shouldn’t have to do that. But most of my Issues are with paint apps, but I’ll return those if it’s too bad, but most the time I can spot it before buying the figure. What’s really crazy was the first Shamroxk I just bought on the back of the trunks it looked like somebodu cut it with a razor blade then patched it with a darker green, then the front crouch area it looked like it was hit with a hammer, so idk what went wrong with that. Of course I’m returning thay, so somebody else will run into that same issue. Maybe if ppl keep returning these things mattel will start losing money and force them to do better.

the mattel torsos used to have a little rubber insert in between the belly and chest of the torso to hold it tight in pose, however mattel has ceased producing this part (and a little waist square to make it sturdy as well) in a measure to cut cost due to now having to spend the budget on double jointed/pin-less arms or they just stopped caring. you can use mod podge or sealer or KiKi solution to make them harder (just drip or dab a bit of the liquids inside the joints) their #1 priority is the MOC collector. If that's case I much rather the elite assortments being down 1 less elite to fix the QC.

I've had two heads I was really really wanting end up with paint splotches. One was hair-up Roman the other was the DX Rick Rude.
That Rude head was the only reason I bought the Warrior figure and it came messed up.

I’m not sure if it’s been pointed out but I just noticed that Farooq Asad has skin colored tights on. That’s a bit of a miss.

I’m stopped buying figures because literally every single figure I got for like 2 months straight I returned because it had something crazy loose on it. Not really justifiable when they’re 23-33 dollars each and they had less stuff wrong with them at $15-20 in past years. Price up, quality down

Parents will keep buying them for their kids because they don’t care and hardcore collectors will keep buying them because they’re addicted, it’s the people like me in the middle who will come and go because it’s taking all the fun out of the hobby. Those people make up a small percentage compared to the other two groups and of that percentage, how many pose/play with their toys? Most either collect MOC or put them on a shelf then never touch them again so the loose pieces don’t affect them.

To take questions and answer them? They’ll let people know some things are “noted” for future figures, but when I say something about the QC it’s ignored. So yeah. There’s a page for these type of questions to be asked, and they should definitely be addressed.

The people that have experienced the problems already know it and people that haven’t might think harder about it.

I just got my tracking information from RSC for “the America Nightmare”. Here’s hoping they don’t muff up the nickname on the Mattel Creations figures as I bought an extra to keep MIB.
