Generally, there are 2 legends and 2 current guys in each wave (at least that was the case for the last two waves). Also, there’s no way that the one wave will have 3 figures from the same rumble. So, unfortunately, I don’t think you’ll get your four choices. I do think that the HBK is a great choice and a definite possibility. Lawler would be a great BAF as well. Maybe Mick Foley from RR2004 instead?
I don’t have any current roster member guesses because they could very well pick from this years rumble and there’s no way of knowing without seeing the rumble first.

Yeah it’s more of a wishlist than a prediction. That said, it would be a good way to get the 3 Faces of Foley out in one set with same packaging capturing one of Foley’s most iconic moments. |

BAF: 2012 Michael Cole is a good choice, would be phenomenal if they could somehow get 2001 Drew Carey in there.
Didn’t go with ‘97 Shawn because it wont be complete w/gear unless its a UE so I’d rather see it debut there.

Not sure why so many think it’s so improbable that’ll be 4 flashbacks. First series were all flashbacks and the last two were 3/4 flashbacks. Seems less likely they’ll have 3 versions of the same wrestler than 4 flashbacks.

The most recent set is Vader (Legend), Brie (Legend), Rey (Current), and Priest (Current). You could argue that Rey is a legend/ flashback since he’s depicting his appearance from (I believe) 2006, however Rey is a current roster member so he doesn’t need a legends contract. However, last years set is definitely 2 and 2. It was Big E, Dakota Kai, Yokozuna, and Earthquake. Definitely not 3 legends there. |

I would love to see a set based on the ‘02 Rumble… Triple H Stone Cold Hurricane Angle Charles Robinson BAF I do like the idea of a themed lineup. Kinda like what they did with this year’s mania giving us two iconic matchups. I wouldn’t mind HBK vs Sid 1997 as we definitely need an updated Sycho Sid. Duggan and OMG would be a good pairing too if the latter was under a deal. I think black trunks/white boots Duggan is also due. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s in this line at some point. Especially if they need a budget friendly figure. |
