I saw a bunch of new figures with 3-D glasses on the packaging. I just realized now why they would re-package older figures.
I need to start paying more attention.

My Walmart clearanced out the few Vintage Collection figures they had left, and I picked up a Super Battle Droid, Ackbar, and Wooof for $4 each. Very pleased with those prices, because I hadn't bought a single VC figure since they raised the price to $9.

I bought a cool figure at TRU today. It was Luke Skywalker (Lightsaber Construction). It was from the Vintage line and called a "Deleted Scene Blu Ray Figure". It's really cool. It comes with a lot of little accessories. I don't have a camera but here is a pic of it that I found on the internet.

I've seen Vintage Darth Maul a bunch of times and passed it up a few times for some reason, but today at TRU I finally pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did. It's a great figure. I'm very happy with it.

picked up the Kenner Vintage Aayla Secura figure yesterday no regrets cool figure and I'm considering the Darth Maul but idk yet Darth Maul is AWESOME. If you have the opportunity to get one you should totally get it. Now that I have it, I don't know why I passed it up for so long. Probably because the Phantom Menace and the Darth Maul character are so widely criticized...it made me see it as a character that was not a necessity for me to own. But like I said, now that I have it, it's one of my favorite figures. The accessories are awesome. The plastic hood is removable, the cloak comes off, the two ends of the lightsaber connect and it's awesome that they now include with MOST figures a lightsaber without the blade out and that can be connected to the figures belt. All in all, an amazing figure.

Have any of you found the newest waves in stores yet? Trying to get an estimate on when to start hunting. I really want Darth Malgus, but he is going to be a HUGE pain to get ahold of. I'm also looking for Nom Anor, but he isn't as popular as Malgus is.

I was having a bad day today so after about 2 years of wanting one I went to TRU and got the Ultimate FX Luke Skywalker Return of the Jedi lightsaber! I picked this one because the green lightsaber Luke used in Return of the Jedi was always my favorite one from the movie. It's really cool. I wish they made them like this back when I was a kid. Maybe I'll get the blue Anikan Skywalker and/or the red Darth Vader one at some point. For anybody who wants a lightsaber but doesn't want to buy one of the really expensive replica ones, I would really recommend the Ultimate FX lightsabers. From what I've read online, the blade and sounds are the exact same technology, just in the toy version the handle is plastic instead of metal and the blade isn't quite as bright and is about 6 inches shorter, but I am a short person so I don't mind. They are cheaper at Walmart and Target, but Walmart only had Darth Vader and Target only had Darth Vader and Anikan. TRU is the only place I've seen the green Luke Skywalker version so far, so I didn't mind paying a little more for the one I really wanted. So for anybody who is on the fence about these or always wanted one and just hasn't pulled the trigger, I think it's really cool and totally recommend it.

I've just got back into Star Wars collecting, did it years ago but decided to start it up again. Recently ordered Jango Fett, Darth Malgus (love this figure!) and picked up Darth Maul & Qui Gon all from the Vintage collection.

I'm puzzled by how much this recently sold for. Can anyone explain why? The figures aren't rare or in mint condition. Is is because of the case? cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&item=370632666072&nma=true&rt=nc&si=9mATd9OM%252FnIp

That doesn't seem too outrageous for what prices for vintage stuff used to be, honestly. I don't know what the current market for vintage is.
But the best reason I can tell for why it sold fairly high is the extraordinarily good condition of all of the figures (except for the 1 R2) and the extra accessories.

Vintage collections in good condition used to sell for a TON during 1997-2006. I couldn't tell you the values now, but I assume, just like everything else, it may have dropped. But based off of the pictures you have shown before, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for over a grand or more.

I am really diappointed with this figure.1 Arm is like an 80's arm and the other only rotares. I picked this up and thought what a great find and its bad. At least I got some accs with him. it's a repack from 1999 exactly the same but with dice and card

I'm obsessed with troopers and am building myself an Empire, lol. This is what I have so far. A couple of them in the back are old ones, I have four from the 90's and one from 1977, but I hide them in the back because they really don't fit in with the newer ones, but it's all good.
In this pic, Darth Vader and the Emperor are checking on the progress of Grand Moff Tarkin in training the troops, lol.
