This is a baaaaaad take.
Not Nia Jax bad, but bad. (Seriously hunter, Nia!? Was there literally not a single other wrestler in the industry available?).
So. In conclusion, Nia is back so perhaps hunter really does hate the women since they're all gonna be hurt soon.

HHH is a MASSIVE fan of women's wrestling. What you want is character driven drama. Is that not what sports entertainment is all about? Lol we don’t watch to see real fights, we watch for the storytelling. That’s why they’re struggling to keep viewership Who is this "we" you speak of? WWE fans? Did you happen to grow up during the Attitude Era and nWo/DX era and think that's what wrestling is?

“I haven’t watched regularly since 2018.” “Triple H is not a fan of womens wrestling.” Ok bucko Well the lack of reaction for any of the new girls tells me everything I need to know. Triple H’s idea of what women’s wrestling should be is not working … he doesn’t want them to have compelling storylines or characters. He thinks just sending them out there and wrestling a 5 star match is enough. The current set of NXT girls are more plain than saltine crackers. All of the women that came from NXT minus Nia, Charlotte, Becky, Alexa and Carmella were abysmal on the mic. The Divas era had more dynamic characters/compelling stories and mic work. The Bella Twins could keep a crowd more entertained than a Candace LeRae. Vince knew how to book women, triple H does not. They were either eye candy or bitches, occasionally you got a crazy one because bitches be crazy ya know

Man took a crap out of his mouth and then tried to name the turd “facts.” The facts are the continuously declining ratings and the lack of reaction for anyone of Triple H’s talent, including Bayley 😩 but okay …..

I mean it did draw the highest ratings any wrestling product has ever seen and hasn't been duplicated since. Guess not enough people were tuning in to see the wristlocks and sleeper holds of yesteryear so they had to change it up and get with the times. The violent and raunchy times. Good times.

I had a friend of mine watch the Rumble with me last night who hasn't watched wrestling for a while. He pointed out that all the women in the ring at one time looked like they should have been a part of Damage Control.
They all had purple, blue, or pink to their hair, wearing a lime green type of colour with another shade and pretty much all blended together.
Candice LaRae, Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Bayley, Io Sky, Asuka, Liv Morgan, Shotzi, etc. All have the same type of look who blend in with each other.
That is the problem, Rhea Ripley stands out cause she legit looks different. Same with Piper Niven, Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and even the returning Nia Jax. All have a unique look to them.

Oh for sure, they invented Jerry Springer Wrestling. And it was very popular. Now it's not, because it's more geared toward what it supposed to be. The Attitude Era was total garbage. DX and nWo were not wrestling. A 30 min segment in the ring with dudes talking while the crowd throws garbage in the ring is not wrestling. So yeah, if WWE wants to see 5s again for ratings, they know what they have to do ... and part of that would be demeaning the women again.

I say that almost every RAW thread lol. Women DO NOT look like that ANYWHERE outide of Joshi stuff, anime conventions, or video games. It's so dumb. Can you imagine if all sorts of tag teams started to dress up like the Young Bucks? We'd be like ummmmmmmmm.

HHH doesn’t want to destroy women’s wrestling. He was creatively responsible for revolutionising and evolving women’s wrestling - even if the push to do so came from Stephanie McMahon wanting WWE to be a more female-friendly and modern brand, Hunter was the one that did that on the creative and talent development end in NXT.
The current Raw and SmackDown champions are fantastic. They’re two of the very best women wrestlers of all time. And the Royal Rumble winner is becoming great. But that’s part of the problem - apart from Ripley, Belair and Flair, there are only a handful or so of really good performers in the womens division. There’s a clear divide between the few who are good and the majority who aren’t. Some of the bad ones are just Diva-style wrestlers with more training. Their strikes and moves don’t look like there’s any impact to them at all. Some of the bad ones do pack a punch but they’re uncoordinated and uninteresting.
The big problem for me in the HHH era is that there’s been little direction or drive outside of the Bloodline story. Bayley was great for years, she was one of the best things on the show in 2019-21, and now she’s one of the worst, in a lame faction with two girls who aren’t ready for TV. In a feud with Becky Lynch about nothing in particular, but maybe about some petty nonsense from eight years ago. And yeah, a lot of the recent debuts/returns have been these bland, interchangeable midcard women with anime hair. But it’s not part of some master plan to kill womens wrestling, it’s just weak creativity across the board that’s more obvious in the womens division because the wrestlers aren’t as seasoned.

I’d say Sasha & Naomi would sharpen up the division tbh.

You lost me at Vince put together better women's stuff. I doubt im the only one thankful we're not being subjected to a Nia Jax bra and panties match.
You lost me a second time using Mia Yim and Chelsea Green who just re-debuted as your main points why fans don't care about women. They hit a home run with Rhea, Asuka's return, Liv had a great showing, Becky & Bayley feud continues to build, properly showcased future talent Roxanne and Zoey. Id say they know what they're doing.
You lost me a third time at "I haven't watched regularly since 2018" but apparently know that Triple H is on a mission to destroy womens wrestling.
You lost me a fourth time at Heel Bayley is a disaster. Her heel work before injury was light years better than her outdated hugger schtick that was killing her career in late 2017-2019.
Basically in short, I don't think I could disagree with someone's outlook on a situation more.

Yeahh that rumble was a mess. It did show how interchangeable and how there are not a plethora of stars in the women’s division right now. The old guard as it is now, lynch, bayley and Charlotte need to be moved on, overexposed, but who do you put in for them. Rhea is an absolute superstar but there isn’t enough of her ilk coming thru the ranks; certainly not thrown into that match. Think there’s good workers around but no star qualities in them unfortunately. Says something when Nia Jax got the loudest pop aside from Asuka; not sure a good something.
The green, purple and blacks all got my eyes going funny too. Just a blur of those colours.

Women are just poorly booked. Fans don't want to see Liv, Alexa or Xia win over Rhea or Bianca cause they're "too small" but then they carry a roster that has 25 small sized women and 4 6ft powerhouses.
You paint yourself into a corner.
