Great idea for a thread. nWo Disciple is 100% required for me. I'll be back when I chew this over a touch... nWo Disciple and as a chase could do the oWn version same parts just different decal/logo.

Excellent choice but man, looking back, that costume looks like it came right out of Spirit Halloween ππ Perfect for the era IMO Fits right in with the Godwinns, Goldust, and Marc Mero Oh for sure, Iβm a huge fan of the cartoon era. Thatβs my era. But whereas other dark gimmicks of the time like Papa Shango, Mankind, Kane, Undertaker, etc, all had a high quality about them, this one looks like it came right off the Walmart clearance shelf.

Honestly most of my Legends wishlist probably classifies as deep cuts, either the wrestler in general or the specific attire. Advance warning, this will most likely be one of the longest replies in this thread. And apologies for the odd few on this list that are probably not classed as obscure. But I've enjoyed brainstorming and hopefully this will inspire other people's memories too.

Not a legend per se, but Iβd love a Todd Pettingill BAF for the New Generation set.

I wish they would do an online exclusive line to offer deep cuts only. Maybe anchored w top level guys in less memorable attires and gimmicks. Maybe produced in smaller numbers so less risk for them and throw it on ringside. Most hardcore collectors or the same demographic that buys ringside exclusives would get them. Maybe only three a wave like RA to drag it out as long as possible

2001 Jerry Lynn - Not even possible with him in AEW, and Jazwares should really make him as a luminary, but dying for him in black tights. He wore the same tights to win the ECW Heavyweight and WWF Light Heavyweight title. He also wore those tights in ROH.
Natural Born Thrillers Sean O'Haire - If Mattel had rights I have to imagine they'd make him from 2003 to go with Mr. America. Either would be amazing, but if I'm being picky I'm going with WCW.
2000 ECW Champion Steve Corino - I know it doesn't mean anything that he works for WWE, but he works for WWE.
Speaking of dudes who work for WWE, 1998 and 1999 Billy Kidman. Filthy Animals wife beater and jean shorts, but also include the 1998 Flock shirt so we can have a 2-in-1.
Johnny Polo - predominantly want this as a Retro but would love any version of him. Obviously goes without saying we need Raven, but I think getting a Retro Polo would be a hell of a residual benefit of getting him.
Agree on getting Disciple. I don't even think that's a deep cut. He's right there for all the Warrior in WCW stuff with Hogan. They made Zodiac already. What are we doing here...
Not a deep cut either, really, but Kronik. We'd get Bomb and Crush first if both guys were signed, and rightfully so, but Kronik has been a massive want for me since the Toybiz era. I went down with the WCW ship and it's so under represented, even for the main guys like Steiner and Booker from that era.
I'm sure there is plenty of other stuff. Anything ECW for me. After 25 years or so is probably all deep cut at this point. Impact Players, Mike Awesome, Super Crazy, Tajiri, Candido, Franchise, Kid Kash, 2 Cold, etc.

Mid Atlantic Steamboat (and Youngblood), Mid Atlantic Piper, Mid Atlantic Jake Roberts (cowboy hat), Mid Atlantic Slaughter Mid South Ted DiBiase. Younger version of Gerald Brisco and his brother, the GOAT, Jack Brisco. The legends series 1 or 2 that Slaughter was in works well enough as a Mid-Atlantic version since he wore that attire there as well as in his early WWF run.
