I've seen videos posted of the Mattel store in California having these figures in stock including the new wave with Edge and Torrie. Must be nice to be able to go straight to the source.

OK, I have to ask... who is this "Paul"?? Believe he's referring to the user here named SirPaul who is Kyle Peterson on youtube. He usually gets everything with a quickness *edit* He just posted on IG that the Torrie, JBL and Edge so guess he got them |

It was packed in a decent sized box, with a bit of packing paper. I’d say as long as the shipping box isn’t damaged in transit, the card will come in about the same shape as he pulled it from the case(I assume) |

It only costs me about an extra $5-$6 per figure over retail so I can live with that and not $50+ shipped for one figure There’s scalping and then there’s helping collectors and they’re definitely not the same |

I'm gonna chime in with something weird lol.
Times like this make me miss KB Toys. Not even TRU so much. Makes me wonder if in 2023 would a retail store like KB work? I know we have Amazon which makes life easier especially for parents and their prices are hard to beat on a lot of stuff. Just fantasy booking but imagine KB made a comeback, you'd have a small store reliable enough to carry exclusives, like this RA line and others. I'm bored and should probably go to bed but a guy can dream haha
I just remember it being so easy back in the day. The small store would allow you to be personable with employees, get an inside scoop on things coming in, always see a well stocked store. Some great times man. WFIGS LETS FUND A RETAIL COMEBACK lol

Leave it up to Walmart to demand an exclusive line and never stock it, I’m accepting the fact that I’ll probably never find Torrie Wilson

Well, the news today will surely stop everyone from worrying, because Endcap-pers are great. They're all put out at one time so the re-sellers can get them all at once and the store never gets anymore. I don't know why we were all so upset and concerned! maybe because not all stores including most in my area never get any of these displays unless they’re filled with old stock that nobody wants like that wrestlemania display from a few years ago that had mostly year old top picks elites. |

WFIGS LETS FUND A RETAIL COMEBACK lol something similar to kb toys would be so awesome to have again. the kb’s that popped up at some malls around christmas time were cool, but unfortunately they weren’t very heavy on action figures from what i recall. and obviously they don’t last much past the holiday season. hopefully someday there can be a year round comeback in some form |

I just need Taker, Eric, JBL and Edge and I’ll be done with this line. Gonna cherry pick even more on the MNW line since the store that has the exclusives don’t carry the figures in stores unless you live in CA, which I have no desire to do so.

It was a great option when Toys R Us, and the other stores didn't have anything interesting.... you could almost always go into KB and find something cool (and often on sale). There were also KB Toyworks "Outlet" locations, that had clearance stuff. Those were a treasure-trove! I feel like Five Below has at least partially filled that segment of "toy" retail - if you look at what they sell, it's very much the same stuff that KB offered. Problem is the Action/Wrestling figures don't fit into that "Five Dollars or Less" range. So we get left out in the cold when Walmart & Target have nothing to offer. Can they come up with a hybrid of "Five Below" type offerings but include more higher priced toys too? Would that be a successful model? Let's do it - who wants to go into business with me? |
