I got someone willing to sell Rey and Eddie for $132 shipped.. I have to have them so I’m thinking about doing it. But part of me thinks I should play the long game and see if prices drop or I actually find them in store.

I was "watching" a Bischoff that was listed for $175, sold on 6/26, just to see if it would sell. It sold within 48 hours of being listed. 2 weeks later here we are and he's popping up everywhere. Moral of the story, unless maybe it's an SDCC exclusive or one of those Creations windows-only (Cody and Logan), play the long game. Even if you can't find in the wild, ebay prices will always come down to earth. FOMO is not worth it. |

I was very surprised and fortunate to find two cases put out at the only Walmart on my commute to work (inner city Chicago). Snagged me an Eric Bischoff.
If anyone is familiar, there's a Walmart on Diversey, just east of Cicero. It is the worst Walmart I have ever seen. It is almost like a Walmart express. The usual action figure aisle is about a third of the size. This is the last place I'd ever think of having something like Elite RA. Was a pleasant surprise.
Was Bischoff ever even up for preorder?

I am a teacher by trade, wife is taking the kids on a playdate tomorrow, which means that I am going to go hunt. I have seen 1 shipper 2 days ago, but the Walmart nearest me had an endcap cleared off, which I am assuming will be their shipper (endcap was cleared off as of 2 hours ago, going to check it when it opens for the first stop on my hunt). I am in the DFW area and if anyone else is, I am happy to be an extra set of eyes and ears tomorrow... Nice. I am in the DFW area as well, mid cities to be exact. I have a family free weekend also and will be hunting pretty much all day Saturday. |

Saw the new Ultimates today at the Wal-Mart I get to hit 2x weekly all summer.
Eddie didn't look as bad in person, but I still like my Legends 7 one better, so I passed.
Rey is cool, but I'm not the biggest Rey fan, and to display him in a manner that would really make him pop would just take up way too much vertical space on my shelf, so that was an easy pass, too.
Two of each, so I'm assuming it was a full, fresh case. Still no SummerSlam shipper at this one.
There was a fresh case of 102 out that wasn't there on Tuesday. Chase Theory, but I already have the (better) regular one, so that was a pass, too.
Finally saw Knoxville from 101 yesterday. I almost bought it, but then kinda figured where the hell would I put it and decided to leave it.
Only one I still have yet to see from 101 is Cody, but I have the UE so I'm all good on that front.

My Walmart actually got the end cap display! They missed the Wrestlemania one and haven't stocked RA since RA1. I found Austin and someone hid Taker and UE Rey. Seems like I missed the boat, cuz it was picked through pretty good with only a few E98, E100, and E101s left. No signs of RA3.
