Going by Hogan/Funk, it doesn't seem as if the connection between 2 wrestlers in a wave doesn't necessarily need to be that well known or enduring. Jyd could just as well be with Valentine (wm1) or Savage (wwf classic,first ppv). I'm going by Rude/Jake No difference. They've already established a precedent right out the gate with funk/hogan that pairings dont necessarily have to have the strongest connection. |

Im just pointing out that JYD doesnt just "have to be paired" with Race...ie trying to be pragmatically helpful, as it were. But, sure, go on being weirdly defensive about it. |

I wonder how deep they'll go with this line? It would be great to get more of the previously-unmade stars (at least by Mattel), but I don't necessarily need more Hogans, etc.. I understand why they go with the pairings, but it makes it less palatable if I only want one of them.

Jim Duggan/ Million dollar man
Roddy Piper/ Orndorff to go with Hogan and T.
Iron Shiek/ Volkoff but they could make them in the tag team sets. Same with the Hart foundation
Big John Studd / One Man Gang
I feel like Bret might get made with that unreleased Bulldog UE 2 pack maybe.
