Where my fellow Fast Family at? The trailer for Fast X dropped today and it looks like so much damn fun. I know a lot of people think they should have stopped a long time ago or that they have become too unrealistic, but that’s part of what makes them a blast to watch. Super excited for the next installment. Fans of the series, what is your favorite movie?

I honestly enjoy most of the Fast and Furious films but I even have to say its getting time to wrap it up. I’m hoping the movie proofs different but the watching the trailer for me is equal parts uninspired lack of originality and disbelief of this story put in front of me.
Trying to connect the dots to Fast Five which feels like forever ago is a stretch for me. Jason Momoa just shows up 12 years after the fact now for revenge? Why wait all this time?
Also watching the trailer felt like watching hits from the past however many movies there have been.
Dom’s son kidnapped - Fate of the Furious
Obligatory “Family” dinner scene - Just about every one of the last 3-4 movies
Going back to the Bridge Scene - Fast Five
Someone saying “this could be the end” even though we all know there’s another moving coming
Dom near death scene before doing something literally impossible
It seemed like Cipher was for sure being set up for some multi movie mega villain but they seem to just keep dragging that out as long as they can.

Looks like fun mindless action which is what those are. I eye rolled, laughed, and said come on when Dom took down two choppers with his car lol
I don’t get the hate for them either. You know what you’re in store for with one of these movies but the original will always be my favorite
