Hi guys. Just joined here so hello! Do you know if it’s possible to repair old WWF Hasbros where the action feature has broken? Can you take these figures apart, replace the rubber bands and put back together? New to this so any advice appreciated.

Yes. I do it all the time. Just an FYI, they’re not rubber bands. Most are winding mechanisms and springs.

That’s amazing thank you. How do you get the figures apart?

I use this method: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/231355/cracking-open-elite-bodies-tutorialHowever, it’s not a simple process and I’d advise grabbing a few inexpensive Hasbros to practice with. Unlike Mattel, the rigid plastic on the torsos most likely will discolor (see Dusty’s legs). I only do this process for customs. For instance, the Dusty I posted had an arm that broke off. I cracked the torso to retrieve the piece that broke off inside, to reconnect it. The figure was a $10 purchase and after restoring/customizing, it will most likely fetch $80-100.
