One of rock 'n' roll's greatest guitarists will soon be performing his hits on your toy shelf. That's right, the long-awaited Slash action figure from McFarlane Toys is ready to be unveiled.
One of the best-known, most-talented and easily recognizable artists in music, Slash is a human action figure just waiting to happen. McFarlane Toys was happy to come to the rescue and put our sculptors to work re-creating Slash in 6-inch form.
We'll release two separate versions of the Slash action figure, similar to our initial Jimi Hendrix figure.
The regular clamshell Slash will feature the action figure complete with leather jacket and tophat, guitar, one amp, one speaker cabinet and a support base.
The other version will be a deluxe boxed edition featuring the same Slash figure with guitar. This version, however, has two amps, two speaker cabinets and a larger stage-style base.
Look for Slash to hit store shelves -- the toy aisle, not the music aisle -- in late September. In the meantime, enjoy the photography. That is the "deluxe boxed" edition"... the regular is the same, with less speakers and a smaller stand.

Looks cool, but I am not a big enough fan of GNR to buy one.
Now if they make a Gwen Stefani, or Madonna figure, then we'll talk.

I am actually a little annoyed by this figure, mainly because i just think the regular version looks rubbish and they capitalise by putting the stage in with the delux set. And the figures slightly annoying in my opinion, the pose is a little off. Decent enough, but dissipointing.

I don't like Guns R' Roses but DAMN, that is well done. Todd should give himself a pat on the back.

I can't wait for this to come out! The only thing missing from the figure is a mini bottle of Jack Daniels.
I still need to get the Motley Crue set before it sells out everywhere and starts going for $100+ like the Metallica one.

I don't care how much more it is...I'll definitely be getting the deluxe box set version. The extra accessories add detail to the figure and make it much better, IMO. The figure looks excellent.
