yeah exactly. Even a price hike for better quality material for those joints since the Warrior/Brock wave was notoriously bad. Notoriously bad? I have two Warriors and a Brock and have had no issues with any of them. And I haven’t read of any issues either. So what are the issues I am missing that made the notoriously bad? I’m just citing the YouTube reviews. First example that comes to mind is Alex West. He said that many of the previous ultimates drop hip joints were bad QC and some even arrived broken.

Now it seems like your talking out of spite of them. Alex West Collects mentioned them but so did some other reviewers on and off YouTube. Just way too many to let it slide. Either fix your quality control or don’t implement them, the latter being the best option since they provide minimal added articulation and better QC will equal a price hike. Heck why not spend the money on better paint app. At least that’s something worth paying attention to.

I'm sure any real wide spread issue would be brought to his attention. The price of ultimates went from 29.99 to 32.99 before the integration of the drop down hips. So the hips didn't cause the price to go up. If the prices goes up again, it'll still be because of inflation. If you hate them that's fine, but I don't see them getting rid of it, toe articulation is useless as well but it's there, life goes on.

Not a perfect 180 without pressure applied, but neither is Warrior. I just don’t think the trade off is worth it - loose and broken joints and possible price hikes for an extra 2 degrees or so lmao Keep his backside AND heels straight against the wall like in my photo, you lil trickster.

I've never seen so many children complain their toys can't do splits if they can’t split then what’s the use of collecting at all?

It’s def not a widespread issue but I did have a handful of ppl reach out to me and say their Brock’s hips did break. But they could have been defective figures. My honest opinion I don’t really like them. I feel they make the figure more fragile. I’ve had some bad experience with my Mafex figs in the past. But if your not playing with your figs and just displaying on your shelf you should be fine. This is prob to add some extra articulation for ppl who do figure photography.

Is he about an inch off of the ground?

Love your vids man yeah I get what you mean about the added articulation and figure photography but in my experience it seems that the trade off isn’t really worth it since the added articulation is very minimal and sometimes the same as the OG design. Regarding price hikes I’m from Australia and Ultimates RRP for 60-70 dollars hence why I’m a bit concerned if they’re selling for even more than that! However I guess I might be fretting over nothing,

Is he about an inch off of the ground? Yeah sorry about that. I tried to make it as straight as possible. He’s much less than an inch off the ground. It’s quite similar to your warrior. But regardless I see that they’re both really close. My main problem is that perhaps the money used for that could be implemented on other already existing weak points in the ultimate line as well as potential price hikes

I would rather completely pinless joints, or more refinement of the butterfly joints (aesthetically speaking) than drop down hips
