“Bootlicking” being used over not complaining over a simple missed detail on an action figure. Never change, WFigs. I love how “bootlicking” has become such a buzzword on the internet in the last few years. People complaining about toys, videogames, movies, tv shows etc really see themselves as some kind of revolutionaries fighting against tyrannical overlords.

I think it's just the highest form of OCD when you flip your lid over missing deco.

Worse than Zeus’s wrists are that one needs to get Dolph and one of the Uso kids to put together Mr. Perfect. Bag of feces.

Is it really that big of a deal? Wrists? Naw it's a $25 figure, idgaf if it's accurate or has missing detail. In fact, they should stop putting elbow pads and knee pads on figures too. If it bothers you that much, buy old ones off ebay. Not sure the figures need beards either, you could always just paint those on yourself if you feel a small detail like that is necessary. I vote for removing all wrist and fist tape on wrestling figures in general because it's not that big of deal. Maybe they can even be 35 cents cheaper with the missing paint apps. Thoughts?

I just saw MOC images. He doesn’t even come with arms! Typical Mattel.

I guess once Mattel goes to "windowless" packaging, it won't matter - they can photoshop stuff like wrist tape on the package an the MOC collectors will never know the difference

I will be honest that I didn't notice it but I also didnt pore over the photos that much. I might have noticed it in hand but then not cared. There is a acceptable level to me of small details being missing that I'd allow before I say no thanks.

Just like when Kane was introduced for the Attitude Era ring, some pics had shiny boots, others did not. Steve said the pics were taken at different times in the production process. Guarantee the pics we saw of Zeus that they photoshopped were early in the manufacturing. They wouldn’t take the time to photoshop it if it wasn’t coming with it.

Exactly this. Who cares if he has wristbands? Or an afro. Sure give him luminous pink tights, it's only a toy, right?
The low level trolling on here is so tedious.

I'm not trolling at all. I just don't see why having an attire be 100% perfect is such a big deal. It's silver gauntlets. That's such a small detail. Tights color, major deco, boot color, body type, face, etc. are major things.

I don’t ever remember Zeus without the wrist tape or gauntlets. How does an oversight like this even happen? Lazy. The same way "The America Nightmare" happened 😂

Anyone who watched through that time period is likely to remember that he could not work. Almost everything he did was based on striking with his wrists and his fists. It was an iconic part to his presentation. Not including it feels like poor quality control but it could also be budgetary. For people wanting it, I understand not being happy with a missing detail that wasn’t exactly insignificant.

I remember his bald head, the hair Z on the side, his eyes, his massive size, his tights, and his "pain tolerance". I assume it was budget that cut the gauntlets, but it's still not a dealbreaker for me in any way. They got the head right and that's what matters most to me. Maybe it's because I have the version with the gauntlets lol?

OPINIONS ... how do they work? You tell me. You have 5 posts in a thread about wrist gauntlets. You're missing my point. You seem to be triggered that I think differently instead of just letting my opinion on wrist gauntlets not bother you. It's just an opinion, man. You want complete accuracy ... and that's not a big deal to me for figures. Simple really.

This is your usual play. You’ll state your opinion. Then you’ll present your opinion as correct when other opinions differ. Then you ask for explanations and or/facts. You get called out. Then the routine is “but opinions” followed by something like “idk why you’re triggered. Can’t you just accept my opinion? It’s over a toy and attire accuracy it’s not that big of a deal” Follow your own advice. This many posts about something that ain’t that big of a deal makes you look triggered. I’m calling it like I see it.
