Update- so the rep I just got off the phone with told me regretfully they do not have a replacement leg or the actual figure in stock to send me a replacement. That she does have the Wrecking Ambulance in stock and would send me that in its place if that would work for me. This can’t be my only option right? I asked about a refund instead and she’s ‘checking’ on that for me now. Hey guys, just got these today and as soon as I pulled Razor out of the box, his left leg broke off. What do y’all normally do when this happens? The right leg also seems very loose. Almost like something severely weakened the plastic for the drop down hips.

And this is EXACTLY why I hate the implementation of drop down hips on UE's.

I worry about stuff like this because the majority of my collection is in storage at the moment.
When I get around to opening everything and getting it out on display, I'm screwed if older figures break or have QC issues like this.
Feel bad for you OP! Definitely contact Mattel's customer service team and explain the situation.

The part near his junk looks shiny like it was glued.

So you took it out the package and it broke? And then you swapped the head? Or did it break after you swapped the head? If that head was on it before you took it out then someone returned it broken. I swapped the head immediately and then noticed the legs hanging very loosely. So I thought well maybe it’s just the drop down hips, so I tried pushing them back into place but immediately noticed they were almost like a sponge (soft) material and barely hanging on. I moved his leg upwards to look at the plastic between his legs and it completely broke off after doing that.

Yeah I realized that after looking further into it 😂 still messed up though, they should definitely offer you a voucher (check) in the amount you paid. Be persistent. That rekkin Brock is only 20 bucks definitely not a fair value, unless they give you that PLUS the check then fine. I remember the hole Kane ordeal, they sent me an ultimate Ric flair and a check that I paid for from ringside.

If they don't give you back your money, I am sure some people, myself for one, would buy some of the pieces off you (a head or two) to help lessen the blow.

Now, I don't condone figure swaps in general, but if you buy 1 and then return the broken was AS BROKEN so target doesn't put back on shelf, I say fair game.

I don’t understand this new drop down hip thing even though there was a thread on it
Is it a different type of joint?

I don’t understand this new drop down hip thing even though there was a thread on it Is it a different type of joint? Yes. Instead of a solid barbell stem for the hips to attach to now it has a joint in the center of it of it so you can drop the hips down to get more forward kicking action as the hip/thigh now clears the crotch piece. So basically the stem is no longer one large piece, but rather multiple smaller pieces.

I thought the figures had pretty decent movement anyway.

You just pull down on the legs (shouldn’t require much force if any) and then extend the legs to the disturbed position. If you’re just posing figures on a shelf or in a case, this isn’t going to do much for you tbh. But for figure photography it’s going to make some things look much, much better. Like having Bret give Razor the Sharpshooter.

Is this Razor the same skin tone as our previous Halls? I'm hoping someone could swap Goldberg's or Triple H's arms just to see how they look on this Hall.

Those tiny arms look terrible on razor. Also, I got the CC series 2 today and I too am not a fan of these drop down hips. The one leg on my Jake the snake sticks out way too far as in the joint wasn’t properly put in, in the factory.
