Yes. Instead of a solid barbell stem for the hips to attach to now it has a joint in the center of it of it so you can drop the hips down to get more forward kicking action as the hip/thigh now clears the crotch piece. So basically the stem is no longer one large piece, but rather multiple smaller pieces. Do they actually ‘drop’ or is that just the terminology? I thought the figures had pretty decent movement anyway. Yes when you pull down on the leg the hip drop down to clear the crotch piece. Basically here’s the Elite hip design - Instead of it being one solid barbell like pictured above now with the drop hips there’s two pieces with some sort of hinge joint in the center that allows each side to drop down.

What’s the advantage? It’s supposed to have the legs clear the crotch piece. So the leg won’t be impeded by the crotch piece catching the thigh causing the legs will kick forward higher. I never liked them because to me making one part into two or three smaller parts makes it more fragile. When DCD started doing it on their DC Icons figures I started displaying those on the bottom shelf which was an inch off the ground because DCD was already fragile enough and I felt if those fell from a higher shelf they would definitely break at the hips.

Well at least 2/3 are good. Absolutely love this AJ and Razor. On the bright side it was the common version, can always swap at target once they get them in. Now, I don't condone figure swaps in general, but if you buy 1 and then return the broken was AS BROKEN so target doesn't put back on shelf, I say fair game. I saw someone post a Target receipt that says "no returns" - is that the new norm?

I'm not sure could be state specific, unless something brand new, I was able to return 7 Ken shamrocks because I wanted the chase and they were all green. That was when they were 11.49.

As long as you have a receipt for the item you can return it. I think you have up to 10 days from the date purchased to return it with the receipt Or purchase history on the app.

Actually this brings back memories because the EXACT same thing happened to my Smash n Slam Scott Hall when I was a kid. I had to superglue it back on and then it didn’t move at all. I’d rather have some/limited movement than no movement!

I’ve heard that Scott Hall was legless a lot of the time, but this is ridiculous.

Same thing happened to me with my brock lesnar ultimate, ringside at first would not refund me at all. Eventually they replaced it but I still had to pay £40 in shipping

At least it was the regular version and not the chase. It would be bad if they couldn't replace the chase version.

It does feel like the potential pay off v risk is mixed at best. The more moveable parts / hinges you introduce the more risk of breakages I’d think v a solid plastic piece.

Certain wrestlers yes, but I don't think all need it. It could be treated like ball/ratchet joints. Some figures have ball joints others ratchet.
