But there is a new LOD logo shirt up for sale from Homage, whose talent roster has in the past coincided with having legends contracts.

I wonder if they'll have an open license agreement. Similar to like Andre or Eddie Guerrero. I'd think LOD would have that kind of licensing power. I'd love for that to happen. Let Mattel make Elites and Ultimates, but still have companies like Asylum and Zombie be able to do their Retro style figures. Animal was an absolute delight when I met him and I wish nothing but the best for his children and his legacy.
But yes, when Homage or Chalk-line show off merchandise, it usually means they're under the umbrella.

I don’t think wwe owns the likeness They used similar / same pads in other promotions, the LOD name was used along with road warriors in NWA etc

Based on the Homage merch, it appears they signed some kind of Legends deal, though. My hope is that it's not exclusive to WWE. Is all I was saying.

Is it new, or a repress? They have rereleased older shirts of talents that were once under a contract (like Goldust).

I got a bret homage shirt which I love, super comfortable but their stuff is very expensive Is their merch still up on pro wrestling tees? That’ll be the biggest indication if they’re exclusive

Old shirts. I’ve owned the red one for a few years. Means nothing.

ULTIMATE EDITION ROAD WARRIORS CONFIRMED in all seriousness that would be epic Obviously your joking but ue LOD would be very interesting and a real examination of the lines possibilities Would we potentially get 2 heads with differing make up to have LOD and NWA era road warriors? Could we potentially get 2 sets of spikes - or would they do the 2 versions seperate to maximise return? You could arguably do more with LOD than anyone else

You could arguably do more with LOD than anyone else I dont see them mixing JCP and WWF eras for a UE set. But, if they were to do JCP era again, I could see them maybe adding AWA-specific heads and accouterments. That could work for UE or Superstars as well since that would kind of be a Remco throwback.

I think I'd rather they not mix eras, but just give the UE ones multiple heads from the same era with differing facial expressions. Some figures based on pre-WWF looks would definitely be cool- AWA with the collars would be awesome.

They could also do heads where the facepaint is coming off like they've done with Warrior.
A UE set from that late 80s time period would be beyond epic, so many things they could there. Lots of face paint variations, shoulder pads, spiked vests, tag titles, crockett cup accessory. And at $70 something, I would still guess that a lot of purchases would be in multiples of 2 or 3 lol.
