Similar to the RetroFest line, would you like to see another line based on classic wrestling games to help push out Legends in iconic attires that were featured in video games from the same era?
It would help push out guys with cool attires that only get figures every few years like Syxx, Road Dogg, Godfather, Jim Neidhart, DDP, Booker T, Batista, etc. And we could redux versions of guys like Hollywood Hogan with a darker skin tone and Defining Moments Bret Hart with new joints and head.

Hell yeah baby. I'd take one in a heartbeat, even if it's just inspired. I was posting on another thread about how sentimental this game was to me. We could get a wave based on different games imo. One could be on No Mercy, WCW/NWO Revenge, Here Comes the Pain, Smackdown vs RAW. There's something for everyone and each wave could have a different era of attires.  |

Yes, some of the most memorable attires come from video games. No need to do anything wacky with it though.

Nah not personally. Love pro wrestling, but the games were usually pretty boring for me.

In theory yes
In actuality not, all it does is give people more chance to critique how inaccurate attires are (the games not accurate to their s dual attire etc etc) and people capitulate as it is if there’s one too many lace holes on someone’s boot etc

I'm actually surprised they havent done some kind of No Mercy homage already. Since that seems to be the game that most people site as greatest of all time (it isn't tho, VPW2 is  ). Maybe done as some kind of 2-in-1 figure with the extra accessories stored as Smackdown Mall unlocks or something. |

I'd be down with it. In particular I'd be interested in lines based on some of the really old games where you could include the entire roster: NES WrestleMania (Hogan, Savage, Andre, DiBiase, Honky, Bam Bam) or WrestleMania Challenge (Hogan, Warrior, Savage, Andre, Boss Man, Rude, Beefcake, Hacksaw), for example. Or the Superstars or WrestleFest arcade games. Just no weird pixel deco please.

I’d think it be cool to see Mattel do figures with a different paint technique to show video game bit rate similar to how Neca does the animated cell shading with the cartoon TMNT line

Dueling WCW/NWO Revenge and No Mercy or WM2000 lines would be a really cool way to do the RA-style elites for the Attitude Era. Not only are those games iconic, but they're functionally good wrestling games that would be worth a tribute in some form or fashion.

I don’t think I’d want figs with pixelated paint applications. I don’t collect MOC so the packaging wouldn’t really do anything for me. And most attires in games are based on real life attires. So I don’t think there’s a need personally for me. That being said, I’d love a line of figures based on NES Pro Wrestling and Mat Mania, possibly Saturday Night Slam Masters and Wrestle War too.
