I didn't think it was either TBH, and I only noticed it on the RA Edge, didn't occur to me for E94 since the UE has been my return Edge and he has the logos intact. The E94 isn't completely accurate either. It's missing the box around the R on the front and on the kneepads.  |

They can’t stop him from wearing clothes lol you can put anything on your gear as long as your not monetizing it, like all those Gargano Marvel attires Idk what his gear looks like now but WWE have probably told him to stop using it, although he wrestles so infrequently that maybe he’s just going to keep using it and they’ll have to edit his gear for merch |

RIP to my dream of an accurate 2006 Unforgiven TLC Rated-R Edge This has been my dream figure since the line started. And to specify, I know Mattel made the basic one (with the correct R). It just isn't the same though compared to what they are capable of doing now. An Elite, Defining Moments or Ultimate Edition with the Rated R Spinner would have been a grail for me. |

So I guess, with the trademark issues, the most accurate Edge's we will get moving forward are the ones based off his Attitude Era - 2005 looks (i.e. - Legends Edge w/ the white/red). Sucks though, Edge's attires in figures/video games look totally different w/o the box around the R. Racing stripe Edge should be fine. Those Rs had no boxes. I would love some Edges from that era. I have the old elite of the red one, but that racing stripe design is probably my favorite attires Edge wore. |

I have a good printer that works with waterslide decals. I usually do this for 1/6 scale eyes. I also have a plotting machine that could do the cut outs. If people are interested I could try to make a small run of these when the figure is released. Depending on size and color (white prints are expensive) these shouldn’t be too expensive. As they would be easy to send in an envelope s/h shouldn’t be too expensive either.
If anybody would be willing to post the graphics needed, I could look into this.

How were they able to do this one? Maybe this was made just before the copyright issues came to light. The UE and this may have been the last figs to have them but I could be wrong. |

How were they able to do this one? I'd say because the R is a different font? Maybe? I didn't go back and look at his WrestleMania 37 white gear though, so my theory could definitely be wrong. |

There's no way it would hold up in court with the more modern designs with the outlined square and modified R logo, but they probably are just playing it safe. The old logo was point blank the Rated R rating logo, so while it's obnoxious antiquated copyright law stuff, I could at least understand that one more.

It's not even just the box around the R. They can't use the Rated R Superstar on the sides of the tights either. that’s dumb of them. Wasn’t that normally in old English font or something when it’s spelled out on the sides? |
