I’m sorry if this has been discussed in other threads…But. Is there anyway to break down these Mattel rings? I’m trying to rearrange my current setup and I’ve got both the New Gen and Raw is war rings built. Is there absolutely anyway to disassemble these rings? I can remember the old skool Jakks real scale ring being really easy to build, disassemble and store. It seems like once you’ve put these turnbuckle posts in on the Mattel rings…they are in for good. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not directly answering your question, but I see folks store them like books on a bookshelf. It seems to work okay but not perfect.

Soak in a sink full of extremely hot water for several minutes before VERY CAREFULLY attempting to separate any two pieces.

I have 4 rings. I turn them on their side and slide them under my setup table. You do need some space to make this work but I find it very effective for easy access.

TIL these pieces snap together 🤙🏻 Ok cool! I knew there had to be ways to break this thing down. I’m just super paranoid about breaking these rings…lol.

I don't have the "full scale" rings, but I have a few basic ones that I use for photos, etc. My cats enjoy chewing up the ropes so I need to keep them protected.
I found that plastic sliding drawers to keep the rings in works well.... just measure them first to make sure the rings will fit inside.
I know that's not exactly your question, but it's how I got around storing rings to keep them out of sight (and kittens).....
