Shame I became a pizza boy instead of getting my business degree like most people on this site clearly have.
Feel bad for those who really wanted the stage or future stages. Disappointed I won’t get the DDP or Rey. Completely unbothered about not getting Steiner, Hogan or Warrior.
Welp, time to focus on Ultimate 19, the RA Ultimates, and the next Coliseum Collection drop.

I am gutted. Just gutted. I really thought this was going to at least get to 5K and honestly I thought we were safe at 7k. Wow. Don't know what this means for the future of collecting. I think I'm going to call out of work today, just too depressed to go. Lmao wtf

I feel bad for Steve and Bill. They'll have to have a meeting with a boss soon. The Mattel Creations boss. Maybe even the Mattel boss. They have to explain to both bosses why Mattel should even bother offering any future WWE creations projects. They probably had some fun ideas for future MC projects they were going to pitch at another meeting, but now they have to pitch why their WWE team should ever get a project again.

I wonder how what the price would be if they left off the LED lights? 99.9% of the time these would be on a shelf or display case turned off. I doesn't need the elaborate light sequencing feature that will probably break someday and be impossible to fix.
I have the New Gen entrance and it looks bad turned off all the time other than the five times I reached back and turned it on for a minute. I would rather have it made with bright colored plastic so it looks "on" all the time.

Hard to execute at this point. Hail Mary ... But a suggestion. Open it up for a week. If those who backed it pay an additional $125.00 and everyone did it of the 3935 that paid. That would give Mattel $2,065,875.00 and would activate this. It would get us the set and two exclusive limited series figures that would be worth a lot. It could be open for a week for others to pay with a higher amount ... if they reconsider the exclusivity of these action figures ... and for the people out of the states they get it at the original price so they know we are paying more but their's stay at original (since their situation is unfixable at this time). Just an idea for.a guy who wants it. Are you being serious? What about the international orders that are part of the 3935? Are they being asked to pay an additional 125? Then their neighbor hypothetically would pay $125 less if they were to back in this week extension period. Doesn’t seem legal or fair to me Sorry if I wasn't clear but in this pipe dream scenario would be that people like myself who live in the United States would have the option to pay an additional $125.00. The people outside the USA would not pay more due to the uncharges they already have. Perhaps nobody in the USA but myself would be willing to pay an extra $125.00 but I would. Hence the suggestion.

Another suggestion would be Crowd Funding, where you can get a BUILD - A - ENTRANCE Set. Where the breakdown in the cost would be spread out .. not as expensive ... and optional for those who would want a part of it, all of it or none of it. Cast large vision. Allow a part of this to be either once a month or once every 3 months to do each phase.
1. Bischoff and Heenan with a WCW desk for x amount ... (which would be a cheaper price point.
2. WCW Letters molded with Diamond Dallas Page & Randy Savage
3. WCW Letters molded with Scott & Rick Steiner
4. Platform Base NWO Hulk, Nash, Hall, Scott Norton
5. Platform Base Horsemen President Flair, Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko and Mongo
6. Ramp Lex Luger, Booker T, Goldberg
7. Scaffolding Rey, Konnan, Eddie Guerrero
8. Scaffolding Buff Bagwell, Billy Kidman, Paul Wright.
9. Lights display that plugs in to all ... Haku, Barbarian, The Great Muta
Let's do it!!!

That's why I wanted all the nooks and crannies. The lights were a big attraction and add to the depth of this set, but thinking realistically and as a collector everything diminishes and has to go. So that kind of sucks in that regards. Especially, if one part of the stage breaks... It was one of the reasons why I started to sell off parts of my collection because a lot of my Jakks figures were slowly deteriorating. The kneepads were becoming sticky, joints were becoming loose and breaking off. I think all we could do is in this instance was enjoy the set.

I really think they if they do another crowdfund they need to come out of the 90s and step into the 2000s. I think a 2000s Fist stage would do numbers. The nostalgia for the RA era is much more than a lot of people realize. It’s something new, it’s something fresh. It’s why the Jakks stage goes for so much. All of us who grew up during this era are now adults with money. The WCW stage/New Gen stage never really meant anything to us.
I PERSONALLY think if they drop a fist stage, it gets backed. Or at least gets closer than this

This was too big to fail. It needs a government bail out.

If Mattel stops producing figures from the 90s and 80s then myself and over half the base of collectors are out. This didn't fund because of the price tag. Period.

I’d love for Mattel to market that Scott as a MTO Ultimate. Much rather have that than a shitty Logan Paul

Or at least gets closer than this This I highly doubt it'd get backed to be honest. Just look at the backlash here from the prices, to the sizing etc. Collectors will never be happy that's one thing. Another thing is, some of the folks from the Monday Night Wars era are established people at this point too, so I'm sure most have money too. It's just some rather spend the money on other items/responsibilities. It's all relative to each individual. I've dropped about $320ish for shoes, while some people would bat an eye at that. Some buy yearly phones, which could also be batted at. One thing is for sure, A LOT of people are WILLING to cave in due to FOMO and last minute decisions... The power of influence is VERY important. The Smackdown fist stage would require trons/or some functionality, massive scaling, plus the tooling for the ramps etc. I don't see how a Smackdown fist stage would be cheaper or smaller than the Nitro stage. The Nitro stage was going to help with tooling costs on future crowdfunds.

I’ve enjoyed reading the posts here. I can’t speak for everyone, but $400 is too much money. I buy dumb things I don’t need all the time, but even I balked at this. I’m shocked it even reached 78% or whatever it was.
