Just remember everyone, if it doesn't get funded, Mattel isn't to blame. We are.

Was there ever any official confirmation on the wall mounting stuff? I saw a few people (possibly via the Major Pod?) said it's not happening, but also noticed Fig Heel doubled down on it in his IG comments. Mattel people have came out and said there is no wall mount.

This doesn’t work for me brother.
I love the Hulkster more than anyone. There’s no way in hell I’m ordering a stage I have no need or space for at the ridiculous price of 400 dollars just to get him.
I hope that Hogan comes out at some point though.

I honestly could care less about the Hogan but the stretch goal for Steiner (and to a lesser extent DDP) is why I havent backed it. I have no interest in Mysterio, Hogan or Warrior. Imo they needed something big at the early stages to move this at that price point and nothing is screaming at me to do it.
Raven, I.C.O.N. Piper, Jarrett, Konnan, nWo Hennig, etc... something first time in the line needed to be at the earlier backing numbers to move the needle for me. If Steiner replaced Rey at 5,000 backers, I'd back this. I just can't drop 400$ on the hope that we're going to jump a monumental amount of backers when it hasn't even reached half of Tier 1.

Dude, I got ing fired. A lot of people at my company got laid off. Lay offs are happening across the U.S. Lay offs are happening across the world because companies are paranoid about a recession and trying to cut as much labor as they can. Inflation is up across the world. Energy prices have spiked everywhere, especially Europe. $400 is a lot to ask for right now. You don’t think I want to plunk down $400 on this?! This is the kind of stuff I dream about. The two wrestling toys I love more than figures are scale rings and entrance stages. It makes me furious when I see people saying, “You said you wanted it and Mattel made it and now you’re not putting your money where your mouth is.” I’m glad things are rosy for you and you don’t need to worry about $400, but that’s not the economic reality of a lot of us. I saw plenty of people complaining that they had to cut back on figures because the price increased $2 or $3. Mattel dropped an expensive niche product in the most uncertain economic time since late 2008. You’ll have to forgive me for not being economically stable enough right now to back the thing that is literally my dream item. It’s beyond my control. This is the reality of a lot of people and the bullcrapresponses I've seen of people are just broke or poor is the most uneducated crappossible.

This needs to succeed. Not just to get this amazing properly-scaled stage of our dreams, not just to allow future crowdfunds, but also to support getting more WCW names signed to deals and made as figures, going forward. And I mean the more-obscure "DEEP DIVE" names, not just the same names who've already had loads of figures, not just the usual "WWE guys" in their WCW gear. True WCW representation - mid-carders, tag-teams, cruiserweights/luchas, managers, women, announcers, referees, etc. - many of which spent little to no time in WWE. Last time I brainstormed a Legends wishlist, I came up with over 120 figures I'd like to see made, the vast majority of which are WCW/NWO era, and most probably classify as deep cuts (link to my latest wishlist, for anyone curious - forum.wrestlingfigs.com/post/9410277/thread ) Today I've been staring at these stage photos and reading through my wishlist. And I keep thinking it'd be terrible not to get that stage, but it would be even worse for that to also mean most of those WCW Legends never get figures too. I don't agree with most of the figure choices. I don't agree with the US/UK price difference. I don't have much money. But this is the greatest moment in the history of our hobby, and WCW needs to win this war! So my order is officially in! WCW 4 Life With all due respect Im not sure Im seeing the connection between crowdfunding this = unsigned legends. Mattel doesnt have control over who signs and who doesn't, WWE does. And if WWE hasn't signed certain guys to a deal by now, they're not going to throw more money at them because of this to sign an overhead Legends contract. I want FTITL figs as much as the next guy but whether this succeeds or not isn't going to have any bearing on future new characters.

I gotta agree with you. People here at the community need to stop the negative feedback. Because at first people saw the prototype and everyone want it, but now oh no is to pricey. But if you see people at the Marvel community they backed up the Galactus $400 without a problem and they overpasses the total they needed to unlock every tier. Why can't we just do that and stop being negative. If we get this backed up we will get the raw is war stage. So please forget about getting Hogan and fight for the Steiner and the Warrior. We can do it. I want this stage for real is amazing. The set is an amazing piece. Could the figures have been better, possibly, but Mattel are only licensed to make a select few, and half the WCW guys are no longer under contract to get figures made, so the figures we have been offered are very nicely done (Especially the Nitro Ring with Bischoff ) My only gripe with this is the Shipping Surcharges (Possibly done because so many complained about custom charges from the New Gen, which we all new would happen as the item was more the the £130 limit. I just wish Mattel would get rid of the charges (let us deal with the customs once item is ready to be delivered by our local depo) and charge us the $400 plus shipping costs. The currency conversions on the faq don't add up as well which need to be rectified, ($400 in todays exchange is £320.14 not £440 as Mattel has stated. I want to back this item, but unfortunetley due to the extra charges, I simply can't afford £509 to pay now and wait a year, if I could believe me I would. Paying £329.14 is a little better for me in my current situation, and I believe a lot of International Customers would agree. I hope this does get funded, even if its just 5k with Rey and Possibly Hogan as it will open the door for more crowd funders and hopefully Mattel will work out a way to get by these charges (Maybe have the Projects sent directly to their International Centres so they can be processed and dispatched from there to bypass the charges. The Video later today may change the number of backers we have at the moment, only time will tell I guess. I understand that the charges can be a big pain, specially for international buyers. But I mean this figures are great, specially having a hogan with a wcw version of the world heavyweight championship from wcw and not wwe. Also if those that like to buy and resell can have a good profit as the DDP, Steiner and Warrior can be sold alone for $80 or more i think. So you can actually make something and still stick with the stage. I just wish more people can unite and backup this set, there are more than 50 million people on the US and we only need 11K of backers. How hard can that be? Also is understandable the lack of WCW guys but with this made it can open the door for more guys that have never been done to be approach by wwe to sign legends deals as this would be a huge hit. Again we need to unite as collectors if we want other crowdfundings like the wwe raw is war stage. Also there is gonna be a wcw ring with a eric bishoff figure and it would work perfectly with the ring and the figures.

Currently at 1,532 backers
We need to average 1,156 backers over the next 3 days to get to 5,000 by e.o.d. April 7th to unlock Hogan and get potentially max value by the end of the campaign.
Otherwise, we need to average the following before the end of the next 30 days 116 backers a day to hit 5,000 182 backers a day to hit 7,000 249 backers a day to hit 9,000 316 backers a day to hit 11,000
