Wouldn't it had been cool to try to get all the main 1998 belts in here? Nash with a tag belt, Scott Hall with a tag belt, Rey with the cruiserweight, DDP with the US and WHC, and Big Poppa Pump with the television title?

The figure choices are ludicrous. Surely the no-brainers that even the most basic fan would choose over this group would be:
- Nash and Hall in their debut street gear
- commentator look/nwo Bischoff
- Jeans DDP
- Steiner in his more iconic shorts and chainmail look
- FTITL Mongo as a bonus

The figure choices are ludicrous. Surely the no-brainers that even the most basic fan would choose over this group would be: - Nash and Hall in their debut street gear - commentator look/nwo Bischoff - Jeans DDP - Steiner in his more iconic shorts and chainmail look - FTITL Mongo as a bonus The choices are far from perfect. Namely Hulk as itβs borderline a rerelease. But having Nash, Hall and DDP all in jeans would have been way too much. |

I love the set and whole 9 yards. But I'm kinda surprised that a Booker T Ultimate was not included. But any ways I love the whole. Makes me feel like I'm 13 years old all over again. I'll back this project for sure.

If they put the less desirable figures at the end, there's no real incentive to keep pushing sales. The big question is whether Mattel's internal projections are accurate to get within striking distance of one or both of those goals. |

I think my desire to fund this, besides money concerns, is going to be entirely decided by Mania Axxess this week and what they reveal. Like if they show some cool Steiner merch I'm not even going to care about this set.

Hulk is underwhelming and the Rey is underwhelming. I think we could have had an nWo Hogan that differs from the first UE, and there's dozens of Rey gears to pick from that would have been more worthy than this one. There are probably 8 people that they have the rights to that I would've picked instead of Ultimate Warrior. When I think WCW Nitro, there's plenty that I think of before I think of the lackluster 8-week run of the Ultimate Warrior. Plus, we already have a figure of it! Booker Nash Hall Syxx Luger Bischoff Eddie Guererro '96 Piper I would've even liked a Bret Hart or Ric Flair if they were done nicely. Hell, just put Rick Steiner in there with Scott! |

Iβm on the fence and will probably still do it, but I do not get the figure choices. Iβm guessing Rey and Hulk are their two biggest sellers in any line and cheaper because of smaller size for Rey and plain paint for Hulk and helps keep the cost from being even higher. However i have enough Hulks and Reyβs from around this timeline and do not need anymore. There is also a legends hulk from this same era about to drop.
I get that they are the Vader and Luke of the line and that they should always be on the shelves for fans, but if they were regular ultimate releases they would be 6month later on-sale-purchases and not day 1 purchases.

I donβt think that DDP head looks like him very much, but I think itβs hand painted instead of the TrueFX so I wonβt be too harsh. Thatβs really the only nitpick I have in regard the actual items
Those Steiner arms are ridiculously large but very accurate lol

This is fire I'm getting 2. I really hope all tiers will be unlocked. I can see why some are dissatisfied with the choice of figures but I'm sure they have plans to get the figures people are requesting in another line. I mean we don't know what figures they will show this weekend for wrestleminia axxses. I'm hyped for this stage.
