So are people upset that Steiner is getting deco added (if funded)? I remember when I was pointing out everything that was missing a lot of y’all were kinda like “shut up, quit complaining, it’s fine the way it is.”

Anyone else think even if they got the approval for the pastamania branding that hogan was still a really odd choice for the choice to push a wcw nitro branded product?
Who thinks of Hogan and Nitro and thinks about pastamania? Would have been a fine RSC exclusive or something sure but it’s just bizarre.
I also don’t really remember this attire for Rey at all. I’m not a big Rey fan but I’d have been more captivated by the fig if it had captured his Spider-Man gear. That was all over the video games.

And I get that. If you have nostalgia for a fig then you’re willing to look past the real life inaccuracies if it matches that fig. Kinda like the Coliseum Collection where you’re OK with Hogan in attire he never wore since it matches the LJN black card. But I’d imagine that wasn’t the case with most of the people saying it was fine as is.

International Shipping: - There’s no convincing international buyers to buy this who think that they’re being overcharged or that the cost of shipping added to price put it out of their range.
- Mattel isn’t going to change it.
Can we put this discussion to rest? It is what it is. No hard feelings. Y’all can sit this one out if y’all wanna. The fact of the matter is that Americans don’t need foreign help on this. We can easily fund it on our own. So let’s also stop thinking “Welp, we ain’t got the support of the Brits on this so let’s call it a day.” If that isn't one of the most arrogant posts I've seen in a long time.... Mate - you're failing on multiple fronts with that whole comment. And no, we have a right as consumers to complain legitimately about something if there is warrant for it. You do realise that not all posts are just complaints for the sake of it? Like actually providing reasoning can result in positive changes. The point is we're being overcharged for something and if we just accept it, then it'll continue. But I'm glad you don't have to deal with this issue. Oh and for good measure - if you don't like it, scroll on.

If mattel would ship it in bulk directly to the UK and use a wholesaler or 3PL to distribute domestically then the tax and duties would only be payable on the cost/manufacturer price rather than the retail price to the consumer. Theyd also avoid the need to pay dity twice (China to US then US to UK). This could reduce the tax burden plus the freight cost as it wouldn't be £69 per unit.nin likelihood it is likely to be more £20 insured on business rates. Give or take a few £ depending on weight. I reckon they could shave off £100 easily even considering the 3PL fees. Add that to the obvious £40 overcharge and you have something more around the £350 to £400 mark! Stop making sense, you!

Anyone who watched the first episode of Nitro, where the restaurant was hyped and promoted what felt like endlessly 😂 But seriously, I don't think the Pastamania shirt would have made a difference or anything, but I do think its inclusion would have been a cool easter egg to the first Nitro episode.

A little update on Scott Steiner’s development process from Design. If funded, final product WILL have some additional deco/logos in addition to the star. We’re looking at his late March 98 gear roughly that would give the figure an additional graphic in the star plus the text logos on front and back. No Superman logos of course. All pending licensor approval but that’s the latest plan. Any chance we could see renders of the packaging for the figures like you did for the new gen arena?

My only complaint is everytime I go to check the progress, I have to see Sam Roberts pop up.

Remember when people were paying 300$ for Harley That is crazy still, but I can fathom someone overpaying for a figure without the ring/stage/whatever. Some people don’t want to have to deal with selling/storing a giant oversized ring/entrance stage and just want the figure. I paid almost 100 for Kane because I do not need another giant ring to deal with. Mattel really hinders their sales by doing these things. So many people would buy the figures themselves, instead secondary market gets to part them out for I assume profit.

Remember when people were paying 300$ for Harley I remember paying $300 for Ultimate Brock and $300 for Ultimate HBK only for them to be announced for rerelease like a month later. Hahaha

I’d love for the international shipping issues to be solved to their liking and then the total backers only goes up 100.

If there never was an issue with international shipping this crowdfund would have a significant more amount of backers and momentum, which would lead to more people backing it, it’s now at the point where it seems dead in the water with zero momentum, there’s not really any point dropping that amount of money right now when the project doesn’t look like it’ll get anywhere near close to being funded

There have been no ads for it, no marketing, nothing. They announce it during the biggest wrestling weekend of the year and don’t run an ad during either night of the show! That was mind boggling to me. WWE hasn’t even mentioned it during any of their programming. A crowdfund doomed to fail from the beginning if you’re not going to actually promote it.
