Good luck pushing that Monday night wars line and nitro ring if this doesn’t fund:( I don't think it will make much difference, to be honest... there are waaaaay more figure collectors out there, than there are massive/expensive stage collectors. And just like with the Raw ring, the Nitro ring is a piece by itself and doesn't need a stage. Plus the exclusive Easy E figure is a big selling point.

Just saw the ad on smackdown, what a boneheaded decision it was not to run an ad during Mania. I'm sorry but at this point youre not getting someone who was unaware of this campaign to drop $400 on 3 hrs notice.

If Mattel could hit the profit margins they need to make production viable by offering all the figures at the first tier, there's no way they wouldn't have done so. I know that the whole "how crowdfunds work" thing has become a board meme at this point, but seriously it's how this works. Serious question. Do you think if at the start, they said “you get everything and all the figures, but it has to reach 9,000. one unit less and it doesn’t get made”, we would be there? I kinda think we would. I think a lot of people are hesitant because they want to be sure to get all of the figures. Yes, major difference IMO. That would be upfront from the start with everything that you're getting. You wouldn't gain anything by waiting until the last minute. No reason to not back during the very first week with that scenario unless your someone who needed another week to get paid and have some more funds for it. The only major problem I see with that scenario is only pooring figures into all the tiers with that scenario. Mattel isn't going to gamble all their time, funding, research & development, advertising dollars etc. on a high crowdfund number just for figures to be the high tiers. I would think they're banking on it doesn't hit the higher tiers to pad their profit margin so they don't have to offer as much with the final product. Nothing against the WWE Mattel team, but they work for a corporate business and I'm sure they would try to do things differently if they could, but they have to answer to people too unfortunately. I don't envision them ever doing a crowdfund that way. Too much give from the developer in that type of situation and it would give them no room to pivot anything and way less control over the situation. Businesses and bosses always want more control regardless if it's the right play or not.

I’m still gonna get stuff but I’ll be less inclined to get one off outfits in street clothes if this isn’t funded.

So if this fails, what next?
Is it feasible they adjust this, fix the international shipping fiasco, and maybe change up the figures, and re-offer it as a new crowdfunding? I don't do a lot of crowdfunding so not sure if there is a history of this, so not sure if this is possible.
Or could they make the WCW specifically items, offer those as some sort of accessory exclusive via Ringside, and maybe also make a generic stage to be sold separately - without lights, which would presumably lower the cost?
Maybe make only the stripped down version? I would pay $300 for the stripped down, no lights version, with no figures.

I think this price point and item size, as cool as they are, don’t really jive with the majority of how the base of Mattel WWE fans collect, especially now. Truthfully, I think even the Raw stage would be struggling to get across the finish line at this time.

Fellas, it ain’t happening. Stop hurting yourselves looking at the page.
They’ll probably rework these figures into the MNW line, they were all worn on Nitro, even debut Mysterio

Some international board members have expressed this issue for them not backing a couple times or so, and given thumbs up to my offers to use my address and recent offers to back via payment plan on my card as a middle man. Not one of those 👍 have said they’d like to discuss or messaged to try and sort out details… but they have posted after those times and said they aren’t backing cause of those same issues No disrespect, my man (very good of you to offer 👍) - but it's still a lot of hassle and very risky (on both ends), given the time period involved, the currency rates and shipping costs etc. And at the end of the day, you shouldn't have to offer. Mattel are a multi-billion dollar company - and they can't fix this issue? They're losing out on hundreds - or even thousands - of sets being backed, and seem reluctant to change it (ie. just do it the same way as before/the New Gen set). This thing might have been backed already. Oh I get it from all those angles. The lack of international payment plans sucks and why I said previously is the only group I felt had a reason to be pissed. That said anything I offered to do was hoping as a WCW fan I would want other WCW fans to have this if made and needed alternatives to international backing costs. If it gets produced and I get stuck footing a payment plan that is paid off by the time br]it is in hand it will be worth it for many positive reasons and the financial aspect will be a in the past, nothing but a memory

I still think this is getting backed... it's going up a few backers every few minutes and there's still 3 hours left. Once it gets near the 4500 mark, FOMO will kick in and a lot more people who are on the fence will start backing it too.
So just relax, people (🤭).

Man, aren't there some rich uncles out there that want to flex? Tell them to fund this stage for The Rock.

We won't see something of this scale and price offered via crowdfund for a while, if ever. Steve said the Raw stage would be more expensive than this, and we have all seen that it's much bigger as well. You may see smaller sets like the barbershop, Piper's Pit, etc, be made available as non-crowdfund pieces. Maybe RSC exclusives or build-a-stage executions like the Heartbreak Hotel. Steve said I think during his appearance on MDT's YouTube interview that two Nitro stages exist. One will likely be boxed up and put into a warehouse and the other may stay at Mattel HQ in an office somewhere. I don't work for Mattel so I can't speak on their behalf, but if this doesn't fund I don't see this project being offered anytime soon.

I should’ve gotten Cena when he was up a couple or so weeks ago I had me & my peeps search my state regularly for that dadgum WWE 2K23 sidekick containing them. I think we searched for a cool month before we collectively gave up. What hacked me off more, is that the Cena I got for $40+ on the 'Bay, came from the town 3+ hours south of me. I'm so not looking forward to any Walmart exclusive going forward, moreso than ever. =/

I don't know why people would want a barbershop, or funeral parlor set. You could easily make those sets for cheap with some online accessories, foam, printouts, 3d printing etc. You just have to be creative. I don't see those sets racking up $250. Kind of puts us in a weird place because now we know people don't want, don't want to spend or have space for big sets. This puts off the chamber, HIAC etc..
