I have to say after hearing the abuse that man hurled at Gisele, I don’t want a figure of him. I don’t care how cool the 1993 Steiners would look as ultimates, he sounds like a complete a**hole. People like that should be ashamed of themselves and shouldn’t be honoured as figures in my opinion. A lot of us have probably been bullied at one point in our lives and to own a figure of a bully doesn’t really appeal anymore. Any thoughts? I’ll take a Big Bully Busick elite. I knew there was a reason we haven't gotten a figure or 10 of him, he's a bully. |

There is no official stance we have been given by Mattel as to the status of this figure. We have chosen not to post any further photos of the figure from this weekend. I don't know when Mattel or WWE commenting on this will happen, or if it ever will, in any official capacity. It's beyond exhausting trying to catch up with all this especially as I have an actual job to do this weekend outside of this one aspect of the event so I am locking this thread and anyone that makes another Rick Steiner thread I will personally have banned.
Ringside Collectibles does not support, condone or agree with any type of transphobic language and the people who have been delivering it, do yourselves and all of us a favor and walk out the door now. Once the posts and language are reviewed (keep in mind our mods do this in their spare time), I'm expecting a ban of anyone who continued it, especially after Jack Specific made the post saying not to discuss it any further. Going against Jack's word is unacceptable and the continuing fuel on the fire of this situation will not be tolerated. Beyond that I find the defense of that idea the way I've seen it discussed particularly abhorrent and unacceptable.
To the allies (of which I am one, keeping in mind) and people that are very angry and hurt by this, I understand you are upset...pestering me with messages and going absolutely bonkers at anyone and anything you can via our boards and social media channels is not the way to solve those feelings. If you want to have a civil discussion about it with others, there is Twitter, there is Instagram, there are all kinds of public forums, not under our banner, to voice your opinions. This forum is meant to stick to figure talk as made clear by the forum's lead manager. If you are receiving any threats or being told things that make you feel in danger, contact me personally with a message and we can resolve it. Otherwise, avoid stoking negative discussion and don't fight with anyone trying to get a rise out of you. Continuing to fight or making it worse will cause you to be banned as well without question. I don't want to have to do that but I am asking this nicely because I think you are on the right side of the situation initially but this is not the place to have this debate, period.
This is the final warning. If you aren't already likely going to be banned, if you mention it again, expect to be banned shortly after.
