I have to say after hearing the abuse that man hurled at Gisele, I don’t want a figure of him. I don’t care how cool the 1993 Steiners would look as ultimates, he sounds like a complete a**hole. People like that should be ashamed of themselves and shouldn’t be honoured as figures in my opinion. A lot of us have probably been bullied at one point in our lives and to own a figure of a bully doesn’t really appeal anymore. Any thoughts? I’ll take a Big Bully Busick elite. |

I have to say after hearing the abuse that man hurled at Gisele, I don’t want a figure of him. I don’t care how cool the 1993 Steiners would look as ultimates, he sounds like a complete a**hole. People like that should be ashamed of themselves and shouldn’t be honoured as figures in my opinion. A lot of us have probably been bullied at one point in our lives and to own a figure of a bully doesn’t really appeal anymore. Any thoughts? Are you ok with John Cena being canceled too? I don't agree with what Rick said but if we're gonna cancel him then cancel Stone Cold and a host of others. |

If it happened (and I'm not saying it didn't), shame on him. That said, I still want Steiner figures. The truth is, nobody is who they play on TV. I want figures of the characters Robert Rechsteiner played on TV, not figures of Robert Rechsteiner the person. This is just on the forefront because of the Tennessee shooting backlash. He shouldn't have said the things he said. We continue to purchase and support action figures, games, movies, songs, TV series, and root for actors, musicians, athletes, etc. that are bullies, bigots, pedophiles, murderers, rapists, etc. California Dreamin' will continue to be a huge hit in spite of what might have went on between John Phillips and Mackenzie Phillips, people still watch Glee even though the guy who played Puck was a pedophile. People still watch stuff Brian Singer and Roman Polanski made. People still own DVDs that contain Chris Benoit and Superfly Jimmy Snuka matches. We still demand Vince McMahon figures. We still own Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior figures. We can separate the idea from the actor. This one is hard because it was just brought up recently but even then. Now can we please stop talking about this and get back to action figures? There are plenty of discussion forums that are for anti-bully supports and trans rights. I hope this thread can be locked now.
