I think last time round some retailers got sets I wonder if they have this time of if the extra cost of it is too much of a risk

IF the Nitro stage gets funded,
Raw is War Stage Early Bird Meat Backs at 5k Funaki 7k Taka 9k Test 11k Pete Gas
Backing $350 for US....$999 international orders.
Wouldn't actually suprise me.
But even though these names are a mick take at figures we don't want, I bet some wouldnt mind a Funaki and Taka UE figure lol.

I feel like I'm deciding between both or neither. And that is exactly what they are doing. On a business level it is smart thinking - if they did the Raw stage first, then the Nitro stage, the Raw would succeed and the Nitro would most likely fail. Tying the Raw stage to the Nitro stage, 'should' help the Nitro stage get funded, and then I would suspect the Raw stage would be just as successful. So yes, this is exactly what we are choosing. Both or neither. If they really want this to get backed, all they need to do is get rid of all the extra charges, charge everyone $400 and let the international buyers sort the customs out on delivery of the items. Come on Mattel the people are telling you and reaching out to you that these charges are ridiculous yet you give us "You don't back the Nitro Stage then we won't do the Raw Stage" Many want the Nitro Stage, they just don't want to pay the charges up front on top of the cost of the item. Spending £325 on an item now and the charges later when item ships would satisfy many customers and you will see a spike in the backing numbers.

These are dream pieces for me, and I'll gladly support both. But it's looking a lot more likely that we're getting neither.

I'm not sure where you're supposed to display all these big stages at. Figures are hard enough, I have absolutely no room for extra tables to be set up for this stuff.

Sorry, but the Nitro stage is the only stage I’m willing to spend $450 on myself for. There’s no WWF/WWE stage I would ever be willing to spend that on.

Really surprised to see people saying they’d pay $400 for this and not the Nitro stage. I know this is a mock up but it looks cheap as hell. Some plastic scaffolding and black fabric? The price point better be more in line with the New Generation set in my opinion (If it gets made at all).

Where do you all store this stuff? I have a huge house but wouldn't dream of having this monstrosity on display

It’s far too big…If you look at the one that was on display previously, the figures look tiny on it, so it’s not even to scale. I feel like we've went from playsets to some kind of high-end models that nobody would have room to even display. And the more expensive it is, the less likely it is to get funded, so what’s the point?

Hey Mattel...slow down ffs. Seriously. Can we not finish this crowdfund before we talk about the next? This is insane to me, but I know why they're doing it. Maybe it will work, I dunno.

I dunno... I'm just not interested in these HUGE playsets/stages 🤷♂️.
I might be interested in the figures... but if they're anything like the Nitro stage ones, it would be another easy pass.

Yeah as a collector, probably would take up too much space just for a display piece, but if I were 8 years old again, it would have been an awesome playset!

I think this is symptomatic of the influencer where they have the loudest voices, platform to air those voices s d generally because it’s their job (or s part of / second income) they have a home studio come toy room to house it
An item made for the few will not be supported by the many
Eve. People backing the nitro have said they have nowhere to house it currently and it’ll stay in storage til they move…what if they don’t? It’ll stay in storage forever?

I have a huge house but wouldn't dream of having this monstrosity on display Lol your word choice reminded me of the Simpson's episode when Herb let Homer design a car. "Introducing......The Homer!" *audience gasps* "Whats the sticker price on this thing?" "This monstrosity cost $82,000? What have I done?!"

Awesome but at this rate you need a whole room in a house to display these things. It's too much at least for me. I now have a whole room in a house that could be used to display these things… but I stopped collecting six years ago (apart from the new Gen ring) and sold most of my figures five years ago. These new crowdfunds are giving me the dilemma of whether to fully dive back in or not.

And herein lies the other issue I foresaw lol. I'm trying to justify the WCW setup because of the fact that WCW figures was how I was introduced to wrestling when I was four years old. *BUT* as a much bigger WWE/F fan than I am of WCW, how am I going to get the WCW entrance/ring and not have Monday Night Raw? I may be the only one who's this neurotic, but when I see this I don't feel like I'm deciding between one or the other, I feel like I'm deciding between both or neither. Same. It’s basically a decision between a grand on the whole lot or miss it all.

That’s the thing for me, man, all of these playsets would’ve absolutely floored me as a kid. Even now, I’m thinking of playing out scenarios like Stone Cold invading Nitro with a forklift and trashing the ring while the NWO run and hide, only to get their revenge by invading Raw next week. But as an adult, I wouldn’t really ever bother playing with the figures like that.
