So pleased this has happened. I did a poll on here a while ago asking if people wanted something closer to the original packaging and it was overwhelmingly positive so it's cool to hear that they take notice of the boards and polls. That being said, do you think it would look better like this? George said it's early so hopefully we can still influence it a bit.  This is a screen shot from the panel. I tried to mock it up as close as possible in the above image.  |

Did they actually update the Legends packaging? Pretty cool if so, the current one is an eye sore to me. Way too basic for such an awesome line of figures.

For me personally,I don't care for packaging. They could come in plastic bags and I'll be happy as long as the quality is there. To answer your questions though, your revision looks better.

Most of the legends figures I open, but the new box is a definite upgrade.

I mentioned in another thread that although I prefer the updated look, they absolutely shouldn't change the packaging this far in since the relaunch... having uniformity and the boxes all looking the same was great - and something special/unique to the Legends line 🤷♂️.

Not a fan of the text they chose for the new packaging.
I've always been a fan of the Legends portrait artwork, so to that see those inserts are rectangular is a big plus for me. (The irregular cut inserts don't look as nice lined up together.)

Love the design, sorta reminds me of the DM boxes … will this have the plastic window showing the figures? … It’ll totally suck if it’s just a solid box with a pic on the front … I can’t tell by the thread pics here

You can tell on the front of Undertaker's packaging that it's a window. Plus, Mattel isn't going down the plastic-free road anytime soon, from what I hear. |

Definitely an upgrade from the current box.
As for this, i do like Mattel's slightly more. Though i would incorporate your thinner gold border, the fading lines down the bottom, and the slightly zoomed out art piece.
Those from yours, with Mattel's more prominent gold design would look just about perfect.

almost every package I get from a figure goes to my recycling bin.
that being said, i like the upgrade, given the world we are living in where people actually think plastic toy boxes are destroying the planet....the fact that we still have a small window to see the figure is good enough for me.

The Darker look makes the logo and gold pop. I like it more.
