This is a huge, huge event to be running. I think if they can sell 40k tickets it would be considered a success. In all honesty I think they can sell around 60-70k tickets. It's just so damn quick to travel over there. Can get from Serbia to the UK in the same time it'll take me to get to freaking Toronto for Forbidden Door. Around 25'000 have already signed up for the UK resident only presale, I don't think it's unreasonable to think that they can draw 2x that from outside of the UK. At the very least they should comfortably hit that 40k+ mark.
We've got Forbidden door before, and All Out almost right after, so the card will be very interesting. I'm anticipating a lot more "dream match-up" type matches than payoff matches, but who knows. Either way it'll be stacked to hell.
Ibushi and Ospreay have both indicated they want in. Curious if they go for Omega/Ospreay III (Assuming 2 at Forbidden Door) or Omega/Ibushi either singles or as the Golden Lovers.
Saraya vs. Hayter seems obvious to go with the battle of the brits.
PAC will need to have a big deal match.
It's going to be a really, really tough card to get on to.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Vikingo, Okada & Mercedes show up for this one too.
Punk return would be icing on the cake for ticket sales, but I think they can do it with or without him.

Personally think Punk is needed here if he’s still an option. Already have begun pricing flights and hotels.

Goldberg at Wembley Stadium?
This will have to be the biggest show in the Company's history, and they'll still have to be pricing their tickets really low to break 80+ thousand. It seems more likely that Tony is just going to a stadium in a new market with plenty of accessibility and is going to sell whatever he can and make as much as he can. I don't think he's expecting 80 though. I think he'd be ecstatic to get 50 - 60 thousand.
With a proper set up I think Toronto could have gotten 25-30 million. I'm willing to give Wembley and the surrounding area double that, but I don't think it's going to get higher than that. Ultimately either way I hope this works out. Seems like the company has been stuck in a perpetual motion machine for a bit. And I wasn't kidding about Goldberg.

In a fairy-tale world, it would be CM Punk and FTR vs The Elite in the main event.
It would be nice to see PAC and my other fellow compatriots get big moments. Perhaps PAC could win the TNT championship, Saraya and Hayter could have a World Championship match etc.
Obviously some NJPW talent would make a difference here as well; Ospreay and ZSJr being the biggest of course, and then Ibushi, Okada, Tanahashi, and Naito will probably be the most recognisable to the UK fans. Perhaps a face-off between the current Bullet Club and The Elite?
As much as I don't want to give her any credit, Mercedes Mone would probably be good for business here as well.
I also think the card needs to feature a lot of strong former WWE names putting over AEW guys. Mox, Jericho, Christian, Danielson, The Hardys(?), Joe, and maybe even Paul Wight all need to put someone over. Casual fans need to see that AEW is somewhere their favourites wrestle now, but it's not an old-people's home.
Finally, I think Sting needs to have his retirement match and for it to be advertised like mad.

Cuz y'know, it's a soccer stadium and we're gonna use it for wrestling. Probably shouldn't leave the posts in there obstructing views... I'll see myself out.

He’s a proven big draw for the company though and still is selling the hell out of merch. So if you’re running a show this big, and you can get him to play ball, then it’s the smart move.

Well one way or another the majority of stuff I'm reading is suggesting that he's coming back for sure at this point. Running Chicago as the go home for forbidden door in Toronto seems like a pretty big way to wave that flag too.
