With a very impressive Wrestlemania Axxess last weekend. Introducing debut figure of Captain Lou Albano to the Wal Mart Superstars line. I truly believe that a debut of Lou Albano is on the horizon. Perhaps maybe on the Legends Line. What are your thoughts folks??

I talked to someone at Mattel at the superstore and they said the sdcc exclusive is a UE 2 pack and said “this is the only time you’re gonna see this person like this “

I think this HAS to be in the Coliseum Collection - depending on the length of whatever contract they have, I'd see them putting him in that line sooner rather than later..... Albano was key in that original LJN line that CC honors..... However - I DO think it's possible that they slip Capt. Lou in somewhere as a "Bonus" Coliseum Collection addition - similar to SDCC Slaughter. Perhaps even as the SDCC exclusive (or something else).  |

Definitely the Coliseum Collection. I could also see a elite older Albano to go along with the Headshrinkers

doubt he goes into the Coliseum line. There's nobody really to pair him with. Steele is with Piper. It would be dumb to make a lone Bulldog. You *could* go Blue trunks Andre but I dont see that happening really.

A blue trunks Andre with long and short haired heads would be perfect for the CC line, although perhaps pairing him with Studd and the WM 1 money bag would be better than Albano. I do think pairing Albano with Lauper for an SDCC exclusive would be ideal, but if they can't get her under a deal, there's no point in delaying Albano. Could always do him in a different look (maybe from the music video). |

Piper and Steele didn't have a lot of interactions during their time, but they got paired together. Maybe they could pair him with Bruno Sammartino. A lot of the wrestlers he managed went after Bruno, so that would make some sense. If not him, maybe they do a set with him and Classie Freddie Blassie, to legendary managers. They could also pair him with Hogan (in red and yellow). |

People associate them two with Fuji and Jimmy (or Valiant) respectively but forget that Lou managed them before that.  |

Even if it is a shorter contract, only 1 or 2 years, that means that they will pump them out quick.
1. SDCC Albano & Lauper.
2. Coliseum Collection
3. Legends figure
4. Probably one of the PPV lines down the road - maybe as the BAF
This is kind of a pattern they have fallen into. Mr.T started as a SDCC exclusive them made it elsewhere, all within a year or two. Zeus was last year's SDCC exclusive, and now is coming up in the Summerslam set. Fully expecting the same treatment here with Albano.
