It does seem funny when your buying a huge lump of plastic yet they’re worried about a tiny little thin plastic film

That's great now that gives collectors across the entire spectrum a relief that other companies will not follow that awful idea.

I’m surprised they’re going back on this. I feel like this means the idea failed really bad

I wonder if the plastic free boxes will end up being a collectors item.

It does seem funny when your buying a huge lump of plastic yet they’re worried about a tiny little thin plastic film Because you're not polluting the world with your figure, the packages is the one doing the damage because most people throw it out and it stays in landfills for 100s of years. So they say. But honestly a small window to see if the figure is inside should suffice.

Do you have any idea where all those vintage He-Man figures went to? A very small amount has found their way into collection rooms. The majority however got trashed 10-30 years after the package got trashed.

I wonder if the plastic free boxes will end up being a collectors item. You never know. It would be funny though considering the multitude of QC issues people have been experiencing since the change. Imagine buying one of these plastic-free boxed figures later down the road thinking you got something special, open it up, and the paint is all messed up or the figure has two left hands. I'm sorry but windowless packaging was a terrible idea to begin with. It forced TRU here in Canada to introduce a "no returns/refunds" policy on "adult collector toys" because people were swapping figures and re-sealing the boxes. The item gets put back out, then the next person who buys it is stunned to see something completely different inside.

I wonder if the plastic free boxes will end up being a collectors item. Probably not, they’re about as popular as Coke 2
