So this is becoming an Amazon Exclusive line? I’m not too keen on that because Amazon has turn to 💩 since Covid.

Has it been confirmed if Bossman is coming with a jacket or not (whether soft goods or plastic/swappable arms)?

This line can’t die until we get an 80s Macho Man with a robe and hot dog tan. I hope this line goes on...  Or at least until they get out most, if not all, of the wrestlers who had an LJN figure. Though, I think Snuka and Haynes are not possible. Vince, maybe, but I guess it depends on the outcome of his legal issues. I certainly hope you’re right, would love to be wrong, but I’m only counting 3-4 more realistic sets unless/until they sign more Legends. |

What a playing it safe line this is turning out to be. It seems like more of a line made for SDCC displays where fans of Jada and Hasbro and Neca and very casual wrestling fans pass by the Coliseum Collection display and react with "ah that's Roddy Piper he's my guy, ah that's Jake the Snake - I remember him".

I agree that this has been a “playing it safe” line primarily, though I wouldn’t consider Terry Funk to be a WWF 80’s legend to the casual fan who used to watch. Also, I really do not think Hacksaw is an option anymore, much as I would love to be proven wrong. He hasn’t had a Mattel figure in years and gets figures consistently from other independent companies such as Major Bendies and now PowerTown. |

I never would have guessed Bossman or Bam Bam, but man, they nailed both of them. Very excited for this set. Yeah, I really thought they would be going with Andre/Studd or Warrior/Honky next, especially after there were Bam Bam and Bossman figures shown in the MNW line on preview night. Bam Bam was one of my top wants for this line though, of course, so a great surprise to me! |
