Did the Bossman/Bigelow set go up for preorder yet? Nope- its a Spring 2025 release so you got some time before that baby is going to go up. Thanks mate!

Amazon shared is good news for international fans. Pity it’s still only 2 sets a year though although it does keep it feeling special.

So on Major Pod’s recent interview with the Mattel team, Steve shared what I consider Good News/ Bad News.
The Good News: that they are looking at bringing some potential new legends to the line that could fit right in. He didn’t name names, but I’d guess he’s referring to Ventura and Demolition. He stated this in reference to them working to get approval for 2026 for the line (not confirmed).
The Bad News: Steve suggested that the available “viable options” for this line, without the new prospective legends, is running out. Unless they are increasing release schedule (highly unlikely), the Spring 2025 set is already announced- Bigelow/ Bossman. So only one more set, Fall 2025, is currently slotted and considered “viable?” I count *at least* 4: Andre/Studd, Warrior/ HTM, Dream Team; Sheik/ Volkoff (or yellow Hogan if Volkoff isn’t an option). Are some of these really not considered “viable?” Maybe they have so little trust in who’s left that they just end 2025 with Andre/ Warrior, the heaviest hitters they have left?… hoping for approval to add new names for 2026? While I want the new names, I still want the others I named, and others, too. Thoughts?
Please note I am paraphrasing notes from the interview. Feel free to look up on YouTube. It’s talked about toward the end of the hour, last 10 minutes or so.

It’s talked about toward the end of the hour, last 10 minutes or so. I have to imagine it'll get greenlit through 2026 just because of how many big names they have left, I don't see them passing on the opportunity to do one more UE Andre or UE Warrior and now FTITL Ventura, those will sell sets by themselves. That's not even getting into the relatively B Tier talent like Beefcake, Valentine, Sheik, Honky Tonk, and Davey Boy Smith. There's also the possibility they get Savage back in the near future, him and Liz would be an easy enough set to pitch. They also have Hillbilly Jim already signed to a deal so it's possible him and maybe Hogan are the 2025 Fall set. Id be willing to bet the potential legends are Ventura and Demolition but I wonder if Strike Force or Duggan are also in the discussion.

I remember it being discussed on here, what feels like a year ago, but haven’t seen anything since.

It has been weirdly quite with Hillbilly Jim, but the news broke on his deal just under a year ago towards the end of October. Maybe they'll just do a rerelease of his old legends figure and show it off at ringside fest just so they can finally get something out for him

Personally would love Jesse to be paired with Tito Santana I agree they would be a great pairing, but I doubt they have (or go for) Santana again.

darkprophet I heard this news and I started assuming Coliseum Collection won’t be happening in 2026. I hope im wrong. Like others have said, that hopefully means we’re getting 1 more set after Bigelow/Bossman. From the known signed talent my top wants have to be Studd/Andre , Sheik Volkoff, & The Dream Team. 1 of those 3 would be cool, plus everyone had those LJNs in their collections when they were kids. They scream “LJN era”

Hopefully some surprises breathe new life into the line to keep them coming!

Any news on Haku? I’ve moved him down to ‘unknown status.’

Any news on Haku? I’ve moved him down to ‘unknown status.’ Believe hes getting a figure from some indie company. That doesn't one hundred percent rule him out, but I'd imagine it makes it unlikely in the immediate future

Personally would love Jesse to be paired with Tito Santana I agree they would be a great pairing, but I doubt they have (or go for) Santana again. That would be a shame. His figure didn't rot because people didn't want it, it rotted because it was over-stocked due to the Hogan situation. He definitely deserves more figures. At least one from his IC Championship days (which would be great in the Coliseum Collection line) and update of the one they released, this time with a Strike Force shirt or the jacket. I also really want some El Matador figures (one in green, one in black, and one in gold). If they could include another shirt with the Strike Force/late 80s/early 90s Chico figure, I'd go with the purple one he wore before the red one we got with the original figure:

So I just checked and see a black card Chase from the Hart wave sold for $350. Can that possibly be right? How rare are these?

Steve Ozer confirmed there was a miscommunication with a new factory so they didn't mix the chases as they were supposed to. It doesn't seem like theres a concrete idea of how they're mixed in but it's entirely possible they're all in one container somewhere in a warehouse

I see these are still on Mattel Creations -- maybe the end of the run has all the chases. But I guess since we don't know how many MC has left (I'd guess a lot), it's hard to keep gambling $70

He did say a normal amount was made after all.
