Got mine Saturday. One Blue Card and one Black card. Was able to turn the Black Card set into 10 figures after selling it and then ordering 350 worth of figures. Also went and ordered another set so I can have Dibiase and Steamboat in Ring Gear as well as their entrance attire. It's funny. Because this was a house show feud in Fall-Early winter '87 before DiBiase moved on to Hogan and Savage. But Steamboat is '85-'86...

Got my set in. I got the blues. Not a big deal, but I could’ve sworn after the Harts they had said the character specific backdrops would be included with both?

I definitely buy all of those pairings but warrior/honky would be my first choice. We absolutely need ventura in this line. Not sure who'd they would pair him with though. He's been highly requested for so long they could put him with mean gene and he'd still sell like crazy lol Pair Ventura with Bruno Sammartino. Pair Ventura up with Monsoon |

Is the black card the only difference between the regular and chase verions when it comes to the Coliseum Collection? I was shipped a black card. However I prefer the blue one to go with the rest of my collection.

However, I think the black versions also come with an extra display card for each that is specific to them.  |

Just got my set and the QC is garbage yet again. Glue on a Steamboat and MDM head, green ingrained splotches on Dibiases body. Also, the peg that keeps the toe joint is what broken out of box on my MDM so the toe piece barely hangs on. I’m over this.

Mine is scheduled for delivery today too, supposedly, though last tracking doesn’t even have it in my state. Oh well, shouldn’t be too long, hopefully. And I’m fine with blue or black cards. Got the Chase black cards, surprisingly! Look great too! Very happy with them. Of course i got the black cards which i didn't want lol guess I'll have to return them and order another set |

Of course I want more, but this is based on who I think is available and who they might actually consider putting in the line (in other words, I doubt they would take a chance on non-wrestlers for this line). |

I believe steve said theyd be about as common as other chases, so about 1 in 4. The Hart Foundation set was incredibly rare because they weren't distributed properly and most still haven't made it into circulation yet |

I initially sold my Black Cards for 325 (I mistyped 350) but dude cancelled his order and told me he had the wrong address in and would re-order even swore he would (He didn’t, gave him 2 days and nothing…so I blocked him) oh well. Got it up for like 234.50 BIN). Oh well, Chit happens.

Question. Does anybody here that displays their figures loose throw out their packing? If so, I’d be interested in buying the standard blue card backs for DiBiase and Steamboat.

Finally opened the four I ordered.
Not sure how I feel about the cloth goods suit on DiBiase. It fits well enough... mostly. The fact that his dress shirt is only the false front piece means that it's a real pita to pose the figure with the suit on and not have his shoulders showing underneath. Also, I definitely will be repainting his hair. Ginger M$M just feels wrong. ALSO, the belt for him is tiny. It's very nice, love the paint apps and sheen to it and all, but it's definitely too small for Ted to wear.
The other three figures are all brilliant from what I can see. Piper is a god tier figure, except there is a tiny spot of dirt on his shirt that I don't know if I got on there or if it came like that. I noticed it within an hour of removing it from the package but I don't know if it was there while still IN package. Not the end of the world though. Animal is amazing... I've already lost his plushie though. And Steamboat is very nice, if boring. Considering doing some work with him. I've heard people mention painting his tights red. Might make it pop more.
Anyway, all that said, I love these figures and I can't wait till I can get more.

I'll throw it out again in this thread, but I ordered two sets and got two blue cards. I've seen multiple people in here say they don't like the black card set that they got. If you're at all interested in some kind of swap, let me know.

If anyone has been waiting for Mattel Creations to have a sale on some older Coliseum Collection sets, they are now 40% off through November 10. Includes Piper/Steele and Jake/Rude. Hogan/Funk was only 20% off but it appears to have sold out. I ordered another Piper/Steele and another Dibiase/Steamboat. Can't wait to see who's after Bam Bam and Bossman!
