Looks like the DiBiase turned out to be a red head. Not sure how that happened, since it wasn’t like that in the prototype, but Mattel’s really been dropping the ball lately with hair colour (see MNW Warrior). Dude that new MNW Warrior is brutal. |

They also gave dibiase medium boots instead of tall boots

Completely agreed about the roster and likely longevity of the lines. It’s too bad too, there are still more sets I’d like to see, even from who we know to be available: Andre/Studd, Sheik/Volkoff(?), Dream Team, Warrior/ Honky; along with Ventura now available and who knows who else. And meanwhile, the BRG roster is growing very impressively! I definitely buy all of those pairings but warrior/honky would be my first choice. We absolutely need ventura in this line. Not sure who'd they would pair him with though. He's been highly requested for so long they could put him with mean gene and he'd still sell like crazy lol Pair Ventura with Bruno Sammartino. |

Ordering the new set when I get home from work. Already considering finding a figure with red tights and swapping out Steamboat from the hips down to match the figure art. I'm painting mine. |

I finally decided, screw it, I need in on this line.
Bought the new DiBiase/Steamboat set, as well as the Animal/Piper set. I hope to get most of the others at some point but I really don't need the Hogan. Would love to try and get the Terry Funk along though.

You could probably get Funk for about normal ultimate price on eBay at this point, it's a great figure and well worth the price imo. Hope you enjoy this line as much as I do |

My Steamboat and MDM was delivered today, they look great, got the blue which is what I wanted. My favorite line going today.

Got my order in late, but I’m pumped to get them. I’m also hoping for the blue to match the rest.
Side question…in the stock photos on Mattel Creations for the DiBiase/Steamboat and Hart Foundation sets they’re posed in front of a plain blue ring apron. Is that just a New Gen apron photoshopped or did that come with a ring at some point?
The plain blue would look great for my Golden Era set up.
