I am in two minds if I should watch the Marty Jannetty episode or not. The Rockers were my favorite tag team as a kid and I loved him as a singles wrestler to, each time he came back I was legit excited. It is so sad to see what a mess he has become, he is a guy that truly does need help, but it is like he has no interest in getting any help. I am sure the episode would be a major bummer for me to watch. How bad was it?

That comment about the black cloud over Marty's head is kind of true.... along with the line of "Marty put it there himself and drags it around."
I feel Marty wants to have attention on him and will do it by saying and doing the most outlandish things.
He also has a point too though when he said Shawn can stand in crap and come out on top with things. Shawn was very good but also very lucky at times. Marty would do drugs and get fired, Shawn would do drugs and get a paid vacation for months at a time.

No doubt. Like Vince gave Marty many many chances but would actually fire him. Michaels got a pass off Vince because he seen a bigger star in him. |

They pumped up this finale to be fireworks and it was a tame telling of what we already knew.

Marty is someone that obviously needs help but people have turned him into such an internet meme of a person, thanks in part to Janela, that getting him help seems to be an afterthought.
It’s the same as that obnoxious ass “Perc Angle” meme. Dude was battling substance abuse hard but everyone treats that area as “lol look at how wild he got!”
