Bigger than he was? Yes. Bigger than Austin? Hell nah!
I loved Sid, but I don't think you could even think of him reaching Austin levels.

Austin was and always will be lightning in a bottle. It was the perfect alignment of the right character, talented worker, and a perfect storyline that tapped into the culture of the moment.
Sid could have been much bigger than he was, but wrestling was always his day job that he did as much as he needed to in order to live his life. He had a great look and charisma. Was a pretty solid worker for his size, and while he was far from a great promo, could deliver a convincing promo that fit his character. In a vacuum, I think he could have easily fit in as top tier big man alongside Kane, Taker, and Nash. But between softball, the scissor incident, and jumping around so much that he never really felt established in any company, that was just never in the cards.

Could he have been big? Yes, but not bigger than Austin.
