The best Heel vs Heel match IMO was Rollins vs Reigns at RR22.

The Shield stuff was perfect trolling by Rollins.

This was way tougher than I thought and I would not be surprised if something springs to mind later and I change something.

Face vs Face

The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin: WrestleMania X7. Everything from the entrances until the "deal with the devil" is absolute pure gold in this match. Even though they had wrestled before this, this match felt different, truly special.

Ultimate Warrior vs Hulk Hogan: WrestleMania VI: Really brave of the WWF to do this at the time and say what you want, but these two had a hell of a match and it more than lived up to the hype.

Ultimate Warrior vs Macho Man Randy Savage: SummerSlam 1992: While I think their match at WrestleMania VII is far superior, I will always have a soft spot for this match. While I wish that the Warrior won the title, it is still a very fun match.

Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper: WrestleMania VIII: What a match this was, one of my favorite WrestleMania matches of all time and probably my favorite Roddy Piper match of all time. When Roddy actually gave something to his opponents he was amazing and this was just an epic back and forth fight that did wonders for Bret.



Heel vs Heel

Triple H vs Kurt Angle: Royal Rumble 2001: I loved it any time Triple H and Kurt squared off, especially when Kurt was trying to score with Steph lol. This is such an underrated match. Triple H in 00-01 before he got hurt was amazing!

Orient Express vs Power & Glory: Rampage 91: This one is a bit tricky as usually when you search WWF Rampage 91, you end up getting the WWF UK Rampage VHS, but the Rampage series of tapes was a lot of fun back in the day and the 91 edition features this hidden gem. I was a huge Orient Express fan as a kid and this match is a ton of fun and well worth checking out.

Shawn Michaels vs Rick Martel: SummerSlam 92: To be honest with you, I am putting this more on here because of the pageantry before and around the match rather than the match itself. However, this little feud that these two had was a lot of fun and the last awesome thing Sherri did in the WWF in my opinion.



As of writing, I cannot think of a fourth heel vs heel match off the top of my head so I am going to cheat and put Triple H vs Kurt Angle vs The Rock from SummerSlam 00, hey two out of the three where heels and you could argue that their issue was the driving force for the match!

Jake/Macho was an excellent match, a hidden gem for sure. The Martel/Shawn matchup was the only heel vs heel match up that came to my mind, that one was a really fun match. Probably could have been a much better match if they didn't have the "no hitting in the face" stipulation, but a fun match nonetheless. And yep, shame we didn't get the Vader/Rude match in 1994.

Second time I've heard about the Orient Express/Power & Glory match. I've never seen it, though. I guess I'm going to have to look that one up.
