supposedly Bret O live says it looks more gold in person and the camera makes it look more yellow :/ hmmm I'm reserving final judgement until I have it in hand and can see it for myself under some natural light. Some of these influencers/etc. blast their photos/videos with huge amounts of lighting that completely alter the look of the figure, for better or for worse. We've seen people right on this forum think that running changes were taking place on the basis of two different pictures, lit two different ways, emphasizing features that get lost in some lighting scenarios and popping in others. EDIT: Just glanced at his video, and the shots where he brings it into the foreground and it's not bathed in the light do make the color look closer. When it goes back into the frame of focus, it brightens up significantly. |

And secondly because my wife doesn’t like it because I look younger than her when I am clean shaven. She doesn’t like it too thick or long but I have to have at least some stubble up to the length in the pic I posted in the Batman hat. But if you liked that one take a look at this…  This happened because my wife said I made a face that embarrassed her out in public. So that irked me. And like I said she doesn’t like my beard gets to long so for that winter (‘19) I refused to shave just to embarrass and piss her off. I hated it but I wasn’t going to let her win. lol |

I ordered 2 of these and I don’t think I’ll be keeping them. I Buy figures just to be autographed. Looking at the exterior of the package made me really question if I should get it or not because of the odd shape it was. But from the photos when it went on sale, I thought there was going to be a solid plastic window once you open the entrance ramp. Now I see that’s not the case and there really just isn’t a great way to have it signed. I don’t know if this was done in a way to start saving plastic. But I’m not a fan of the packaging at all. It’s not the best way to get for MIB collectors in my opinion.

I actually don't mind "influencers" getting sent things by Mattel... a lot of the time, their videos and reviews are very well made and informative and must take quite a bit of time and effort to make. I enjoy the ones I watch, anyway.
Having said that though, it does seem a bit strange that Mattel are sending reviewers a figure that is long sold-out and unavailable(?). But really... who cares? It's up to Mattel.

But that jacket is missing and that pisses me off because I love that jacket. It went missing sometime last year so either my daughter took it when she moved to Brooklyn or my wife lent it to my brother in law when we helped him move. Which in either case means I’ll never see that jacket again. Which makes no sense because I am 6’5” 380 so both of them combined can’t fill that jacket. lol finnbalor1 I tried to get a pic of the cape with it on, but I am alone now and I’m too tall and wide for the mirrors. All I can see is a tiny portion of my left or right shoulders. But here’s the back of the hat with the cape. It would be better if the bottom was scalloped.  |

I just posted this in the thread asking if anyone canceled their Cody order, but I felt it should be here too. Looking at Pixel Fan’s review the tights look much closer to Cody’s than the others review have shown. So I guess it depends on the lighting people are using. So I will hold off final judgement until I receive mine.   |
