How are we feeling on this fig? It looks like they may have made some adjustments to the color of the tights but it could also just be the lighting. And the more I see of this jacket the more Iβm not sure if I like it or not..   |

Iβll also add - on any further Cody Ultimates I hope they give him the Rick Rude torso. Cody is in phenomenal shape now compared to when he returned at WM 38.

Some people shouldnβt be Ultimates until they can get a proper light heavyweight torso. Jeff, Usos, AJ, this etc look awkward. People hated ab crunch because it βlooked badβ this is worse I think. Floating torsos |

Tights look much better in these pics. I wish they would do away with the wheel barrow chest piece. As great as this figure and Amazon HBK are, the chest is an eye sore to me.
Either way, excited to get this.

Glad this figure wasn't for me. I really don't like Mattel reusing the Flair torso over and over. I think that torso just looks good on flair and the arms stick out to the side. These guys aren't barrel chested. Cody, Jeff, Macho all have different physiques. Even their elite counter parts don't match this torso. Then you have Razor, Jeff, AJ and now the crowdfund DDP all sharing the same UE torso. Make some new torsos for the bigger guys.

If they were planning to change the torso from what was shown from the render they could have at least change it to the Rick Rude torso. That torso they used doesn't look good on Cody.

I think a hybrid custom of this and the AEW Jazwares supreme figure would be about the best Cody you can get. They each have pros where the other has cons.

This figure sucks. The package is cool but the figure is really bad for the time they had. The jazwares jacket is way better. Guess Iβll be selling my two when they show up

The only thing I donβt care for about this UE (and his Elite) is the legs are not tights legs. Theyβre trunks legs molded in colors. Use the tights leg molds so thereβs some wrinkles in them. These are way too smooth looking. That and sculpt of the weight belt. Although since I posted this it was confirmed it has the drop down hips which I TRULY hate because they make the figure that much more fragile.

All the RVDs have those cheaply painted on chicken legs, while the basic has molded biker trunks. The new Scott Steiner from the crowdfund has cheaply painted on biker trunks as well, why not sculpt them? It's a small detail, but looks great in the end. |

Worse is when they give trunks guys the tights leg mold in flesh color so they have the tights wrinkles molded into in their legs. The Elite Ted DiBiase Jr figures suffered from that. lol |
