Given the failure of the Nitro stage, I want to see if we can show Steve that there is still support for the RAW stage. I think a lot of us wanted the RAW stage anyway.
Let's assume that Mattel fix the international payment issues (ie. No upfront customs fees, payment plans are available) and there are no other issues.
My fear is that they won't touch the RAW stage now at all which is a great shame for those of us that want it.

I would much rather have a Raw is War stage scaled to a $100-200 price tag than a scale accurate one with all the bells and whistles at $500.
As cool as the Raw is War stage they showed was and as much as I would like to have it, I’d be just as happy with one similar to the mass retail entrance stages Mattel made. Except for the Wrekkin’ Raw Entrance Stage. That one doesn’t even have enough room for wrestlers to fight on the stage.

I’d buy it, but I honestly think something scaled at about 75% without light up functions would be cheap enough to produce and be better than any stage ever released.

If they couldn't get enough people to buy the Nitro stage at $400 USD/£500 GBP or the other international prices, no way will they even try the Raw Is War stage at a higher price, or ANYTHING that isn't priced significantly lower than the Nitro stage.
To the suits at the top the details don't matter, all they will see is a big wrestling item at that price does not sell enough.
If they try something else (and that's a big "if" - it'll probably be a good while) the one thing you can guarantee is it will be priced significantly less than the Nitro stage.

I've said before - that RAW stage is ridiculously big. And from what I've read, it sounds as if the price would actually be nearer $600. So either the size or price - or both - would rule out the majority of collectors... I don't think it would stand a chance of being funded.

Nope. The only stage I wanted was the WCW one. Anything else is a big time pass.

Well $500 for Americans would probably amount to $850 for people outside the US going by their wacky international fees.
That’d be a hard no.

I think it’s safe to say that we won’t see a crowdfunding item for a long time.

Pretty sure the way they were talking is that they needed Nitro to fund so they can reuse some of the tooling from that to bring down the cost but it would still be more expensive than Nitro. Without the existing tooling Raw is probably at minimum gonna cost $600. That being said, whether it’s at $500 or $600, we will never see another crowdfund at that scale again.

I voted no - not so much on the price, but the size. If it's scaled down version (which hopefully helps the price) and some of the figures include people we might not get as an Ultimate, then I would reconsider.
If the figures are just Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, Kane, etc. then I'm a no. I don't mind one included (like a ministry Taker), but not all 5.
DX army probably would have been a good theme if they didn't already do them as elites.
Work with WWE to sign someone new that is announced like a Gangrel UE (comes with flames to add to the stage) or someone similar to take the Doink spot.

If they did decide to make it and released it with Ultimate figures then I'd basically have to as I'm (stupidly) trying to stay complete with that line - that clearly is the reason they put exclusive figures with the rings that they know we (largely) don't need or want so it's the same with the crowdfunds.
The figures are the important thing - that's what the majority of us want above all else.
If they released the stage without a figure then I won't get it, but overall I'd prefer it if they just concentrated on releasing figures and left the rings, stages, etc., to the kids lines.
(BTW I backed both projects.)

It shouldn't be 500 idc what anyone says. It's a bunch of plastic and a giant black sheet and no bells in whistles, if its 500 it had better be at last 10 figures to come with it.

If a Raw stage crowdfund is $500+ it’ll make the the nitro stage look like a huge success.

What if it was a highly detailed cardboard diorama cutout? Would you guys want it then?
If it was scaled with our UE's and Elite's, as well as, our New Gen and Raw is War rings...would you guys consider that?

No - I backed the Nitro stage, but don’t care for big displays. Might be interested in some smaller sets (ie funeral parlor).

Would rather have Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber, modern cage, and classic blue cage for the rings instead of stages to be honest.

I made a comment in the WCW thread about not seeing the value for what you were getting. I've since cooled on that opinion, especially when putting it into context. If companies like Sideshow can sell statues for $500+, statues that just sit there and look pretty, why can't an interactive, to-scale playset at $400 be worth it? It absolutely can. My biggest concern about the RAW stage is display space. Say they need 5,000 to back this to get it made. Now let's say that there are 5,000 people with the financial means to spend $500-600 on it. Do those 5,000 people also have the display space to set that beautiful beast up? As a collector, I know my space is limited. I recently purchased a ring for my UEs and I don't know where it's going yet. I can't imagine figuring out how to display this unit. If I was a collector from that era I personally couldn't buy it because I open all my stuff, and I won't buy something that I can't display.
That being said, if this does go to crowdfunding, I hope it succeeds because it's freaking cool.

My problem is that the Raw is War stage is 80% black cloth fabric and plastic scaffolding. Hard to justify a hefty price tag on that one.
For exclusive figures, the dream would be a the Brood. Especially if the stage adapted to create their “rising from below” entrance.
Another essential would be Mr McMahon circa 1998-1999.
Throw in a tablet with preloaded Titantron entrance videos and theme and now we’re talking (I know, I know…not a chance in hell…just saying lol).
