What if it was a highly detailed cardboard diorama cutout? Would you guys want it then? If it was scaled with our UE's and Elite's, as well as, our New Gen and Raw is War rings...would you guys consider that? Yes, as the price would be much, much cheaper.

No, it's huge and looks boring. If they try a stage again do the SmackDown Fist or Oval and don't have any electronic lights or sounds to help keep the cost down. I'd much prefer HIAC, Chamber, Blue Steel Cage, Funeral Parlor/Barber Shop/Piper's Pit, etc.

No, thank you. I just wanted the Nitro stage.

I don't know if they could even do it at $500. Steve said they did Nitro first because they could recycle some tooling for the RAW stage. Without that, the price probably goes even higher (if possible at all).

This has basically proved that the choice has nothing to do with it. Inflation has spoken.

Let’s just move on from it. It’ll fail just like the WCW one and the thread for it will just be another disaster of people repeating the same thing over and over again.

The next one should be a smackdown stage with a ring conversion kit.
If anything.
Hell, it can be the first smackdown entrance. the scale would be closer to the new gen set. Figures include ref HBK, The Rock, Triple H, Vince McMahon, ultimate Stephanie. Price it at 299.99, and have the last tier a cage or cell.

Given how much the Nitro stage would have cost the Raw stage will most likely cost me and others $1000 that's a hard no for something I have no space for to begin with. I don't think raising the price above $300 for a crowdfund is a good idea right now in this financial environment. The buyers market and boom of a few years ago isn't there right now.

I would, but they need to find a way to dumb these stages down a little. There aren't enough people who have that much money to throw around on toy sets.

I’d be in for RAW and I do think the market is bigger for that than Nitro, which has to be taken into consideration.
I’m not sure the price is definitely the reason the nitro stage didn’t get made, certainly not the only reason. In terms of international backers, I think it was more the principle of paying so much more than US backers when this wasn’t the case for the new gen. It didn’t add up and Mattel didn’t do a good enough/quick enough job of explaining or amending.
The nitro stage was seen as the best way to get to the RAW stage as it would have funded key tooling but the idea of having to spend $900 or more over the next 12-18 months on two stages is a stretch…I suspect there were a lot of people like me who didn’t want the Nitro stage but hoped enough people did so we could get RAW.
However, talk of massively scaling or dumbing it down to bring the cost down is an absolute no no. I know it can’t be 100% to scale as it would just be silly big but as close to scale and detail as possible or don’t bother at all.

I just don't see the appeal of a stage. Are you going to have all figures of that era just standing around like they all entered at the same time? I've said it before but attitude era is about the dx tank a concrete truck filling in a limo, a dumpster, announce booth, ladders, Brian pillmans home, a bridge, crapper 316 etc. A big stage is just a bit boring and doesn't scream attitude era. 500 for some raw is war banners and black cloth and scaffolding. No thanks. Some kind of creative mix of attitude era backdrops would be interesting. I just want more creativity in it than just "stage".

probably not. but it would depend what figures come with it. that’s the selling point for me, personally.

I am going to attempt to do the tiers with this: RAW is War Stage Tier 1- Unlock Stage with HBK - IYH Bad Blood Attire Tier 2- Unlock Stage with Raw is War sign Pillars with HBK - IYH Bad Blood Attire & Bret - SS 1997 w. Canadian Flag Tier 3 Unlock Stage, Raw Is War sign, and Ramp with HBK - IYH Bad Blood Attire, Bret SS 1997 w. Canadian Flag & Vince McMahon in Commentary WarZone jacked and Corporate Look Tier 4 - Unlock Stage, Raw Is War sign, and Ramp, Raw Is War Commentary Table (headsets, microphones, chairs) with HBK - IYH Bad Blood Attire, Bret SS 1997 w. Canadian Flag & Vince McMahon in Commentary WarZone jacked and Corporate Look, & Jerry the King Lawler Tier 5 (a bonus) - Michael Cole WarZone Commentary
Now would this be worth the amount in which the Nitro Stage was priced at? Just an idea..
I put the ram and pillars separate as these are add ons to the stage. The main part of the stage is the money for me, but I'd understand if its not possible to do it without the other add ons.

I’d probably pass. I don’t have the space for giant stages. I had to work to make space for the Next Gen entrance. Give me something like the WMX entrance.

I was always a WWF guy, but I’d most likely pass on a Raw is War stage. The Nitro stage looked amazing and I wish we got it, but we gotta move on. I’m hoping if we ever get another crowdfund it’ll be something like this Action Figure Attack A Funeral parlor set, that includes A backdrop, the wooden coffin that was always standing up off to the side, some plants, & a green lighting effect. Ultimate Warrior Casket, with claw marks on the inside of it. Ultimate Warrior UE Undertaker UE Paul Bearer UE (with a hand that has the urn molded into it) This is something that I don’t see retail having the space for, so it’d make sense as a crowdfund. I assume something similar to this scenario would cost less than something like the raw or nitro stages.

Raw, HIAC, and Elimination Chamber would all be nos for me. I liked the Nitro stage and backed it, but I can’t really think of another stage I’d go in on. A very plussed up Funeral Parlor or Piper’s Pit would be cool, but I’m not sure if they rise to the price point expected of a crowdfund.

Price isn’t the issue. It’s too recent for my era of collecting, too big for my space, and it’s basically all cloth and scaffolding.
I would have to be absolutely blown away by the included figures, and if they’re from the Attitude Era, I can’t see that happening.

The Raw is War stage in my mind is too 'basic' in terms of detail to the point where I would really just prefer a much cheaper cardboard/"pop up" version of it like was previously done with the more modern Raw and Smackdown Live entrance stages a few years ago and like what Jazwares did with the AEW stage.
