If his contract has expired. It's frustrating to think.....how many of those Wrestlemania III figures did they remake? They released it as a basic and an elite in the same year I think. Obviously itâs not the contract or this figure would have been cancelled a while ago or not even made. And Iâm sure Mattel knows how long their contracts with talent are, so why would they make a figure if they knew the contract would expire before it was able to be released which would cause it to be cancelled? |

It could be possible that the Randy Savage deal is no longer valid because Lanny Poffo is no longer here anymore either.
My guess is that Lanny was behind all the Randy Savage stuff since Randy's passing and if Lanny isn't here anymore, then who is gonna sign off to have Randy Savage figures or merchandise now?? Probably nobody.

Iâm sure if anyone sold their defining moments macho after they seen the ultimate movie as coming out their regretting it right now Anyone who does this before having the replacement figure physically in hand is a damned fool. Funniest thing I ever saw was a dude on FB tried to sell his all pink RSC Bret for $900 AFTER the ultimate had been announced. But I think the funniest part was he was asking for $900 |

And wouldnât a guy whoâs alive still working be alittle different than a guy whoâs passed on? Iâm pretty sure if Randyâs contract was coming to an end that Poffo would have extended the contract. He just died what 3 months ago? Im sure he wasnât waiting till the last day to sign a new deal unless he just wasnât planning on it , whcih if that was the case this figure would have been pulled way before then. |

Whoops, forgot about that - I thought they were engaged only. Yeah, so the only way Lanny's death would impact Machos deal is if he left the rights to Lanny (assuming he could do that vs. going to his wife). |

Yeah, this has to be a production issue or something like it getting shuffled into the Target UE Legends line so itâs no longer available through RSC.
WWE is going to do whatever it takes to keep merchandising Macho Man. Thereâs too much money to lose.

Discussing it and saying âOh Lanny died so I bet the contract lapsedâ are two different things. I really don't know what to tell people like you at this point. That's a completely valid statement, someone gave a piece of supporting information followed by what they think might be happening. Just say you don't want people saying things you don't like and be done with it because trying to police what does and doesn't count as discussion is just laughable. Cool |

I sped over to my buddy's toy shop as soon as I got off work. He's heartbroken because he is a huge Macho Man fan as well. He thinks this has something to do with the rights issue but he's not sure, we should get offical word from Mattel very soon because when they lost Sting they announced it pretty fast. Losing this figure hurts but what about Halloween Havoc Macho?? Macho Man is one of the big three with Hogan and Warrior. This is big sad news.
