A first time in the line limited SDCC exclusive of her will sell out in minutes. The same as Zeus, Mr T, and Slaughter who many questioned. And Ali may be the bigger name but within the world of wrestling, Lauper is more significant. |

Great choice I think given his profile, though I get why some collectors aren't wowed.
The figure doesn't look great but the presentation isn't doing it any favours - I'm sure the official launch will make it look much more exciting.
But then again it'll still sell-out in minutes like the SDCC exclusive always does so you could understand Mattel maybe deciding to phone it in since they seem to like to undershoot demand with these releases, so it's not like they have to worry about attracting a large amount of buyers.

The operative word is "Want", not the phrase of "...do you think it will be?" So what is there to laugh at if the poll's answer of who they "want" is winning? *I am an English and reading teacher IRL so wording is important, obviously they are not to the one "laughing" at those who want those figures. |

Given the trajectory of the SDCCs thus far, things with crossover appeal to both wrestling and other fan bases, it makes sense, and it’s something Jakks never did which is also why I think they went with this. It also opens doors to the other entertainment crossovers Jakks did do. A recognizable name, a specific event… it’s going to move quickly. I’d guess maybe not as quick as sarge but quicker than last years (as someone who had more trouble with last year than sarge). It’s a niche pick absolutely, but for collectors from that era it’s cool
