Two of the greatest to ever do it & two of my fav stars in business’s history!!
So who you guys going with? It’s another sticky one but I’m going with HBK, I love Taker but HBK was just too special man... what a legend!!
Both guys had similar careers that lasted about 25-30+ years, they dominated the 90s, 2000s & even the 2010s & 2020s with their presence still being heard & felt til this day... big respect to both of these legends.

Man I say this every time but hardly anybody can touch Undertaker's career as a whole but I was just not a huge Undertaker guy for most of his career. I more often than not liked Kane more as a monster character and I prefer his entire 1996-2004 run to everything else in his career combined. From first showing up as the Lord of Darkness in 1996 dropping the purple gloves and pale skin he used previously, he started talking and working quite a bit better/faster. Then he moved on and started the Ministry of Darkness in 1999 and even managed to feel like a totally different character in that same year while teaming with Big Show as part of the Unholy Alliance. Then there's the ABA/Big Evil run from 2000-2003 which was the wildest thing to witness as a kid. Undertaker was showing up on a motorcycle as the Undisputed Champion every week to crush your favorite superstars on both shows as the best monster heel he's ever been in my eyes. Everything before his LOD run was meh for me and everything after his Big Evil run was a nice cherry on top as he molded all his old characters into one to create "The Deadman" dressing like a Biker, sticking his tongue out like ministry Taker, moved around the ring like the Lord of Darkness and still wearing hats/coats while using the whole "rest in peace" spiel just like the mortician Undertaker of the old days. I just personally never cared for it the way I did the other iterations I mentioned.
HBK though? HBK has been good forever. TLDR: I pick Shawn

Love both guys, but has to be Shawn Michaels for me, these two had amazing chemistry together as well, their Hell in the Cell match is still some of the finest work that either of these men did, that match is pretty much perfect from the entrances to Kane at the end, to HBK having to be carried out by DX.

HBK. Pretty much pick anyone that both men wrestled, and Michaels had the better match with them, in my opinion. Outside maybe Kane and Batista. Michaels just was better in the ring and on the mic.

Undertaker is my 🐐
Shawn Michaels is my #4 all time, however.
Undertaker was a guy that on screen, badass character. Wasn’t for everybody but most enjoyed it. Groundbreaking presentation and imo, is the originator of the true spectacle entrance. Off screen, a backstage leader and cornerstone of the company. Never left. Never lost a smile. Never went into movies.
