A lot of the people saying Ref Ali was a dumb choice would be super excited if it was Ref Tyson not realizing it’s the exact same thing. Two former mega star boxing champions whose stardom surpassed the world of boxing being an outside referee in a high profile WrestleMania match. Just two different eras. I’m looking forward to the Ali, but I think the difference is that Tyson was involved in the product and a member of DX, and of course vital to the finish of the match, whereas Ali was just sorta there. |

Ali got involved several times during the match. Was probably more active than Tyson. He just didn’t make the 3 count or do anything post match. |

I mean this dude literally said he “couldn’t say who it was until mattel revealed it themselves, because he didn’t wanna ruin their hardwork” and now here he is “ruining their reveal.”lol. |

Wrestlemania 1 collectors/completists will definitely be interested in Ali as special guest referee. Im Far more interested in Wrestlemania 1 special referee Ali than Ali vs Inoki two-pack. True, but those completists won't be getting Snuka in trunks any time soon. |

So we weren’t getting a trunks Snuka there anyway. And honestly whether he did it or not he was never convicted of anything because they waited too long to reopen it. And because of it he’s only accused so they could release one in the future if they feel like it. You can’t black ball someone over an accusation. That said I doubt we’ll see another Snuka from Mattel. |

Ever since Dark Side and him being officially charged most people believe Snuka was the cause of Nancy’s death. Just because he was mentally incapable of standing trial doesn’t make him innocent. Mattel and WWE will not risk the backlash of producing any merchandise of him. Same with Moolah. Her crimes are only allegations and hearsay but WWE was quick to remove her name from the women’s battle royal after complaints and I don’t think she’s been mentioned on TV since. |
