Ok guys, this isn't coming from my buddy at the toy shop and I think this deserves it's own thread because if it's legit I believe it rules out ALL of my poll options in the other thread that me and my buddy at the toy shop talked about. Kyle Petterson dropped the news this past weekend on his youtube channel that he's been sent a picture of a figure that might be one half of the comic con exclusive. The only hint he would give is that this person would have the typical crossover appeal. be controversial and that his granpa hates this guy!! Who would have crossover appeal and have the ability to make a 70 to 75 year old man hate him?? I think this rules out everybody on my poll list except maybe Dennis Rodman if the old guy was a nba fan but not a fan of the bulls??? Robert Morton and Piper but Morton would be a HUGE deep cut and I don't think many people even know who he is?? Trump and Vince??? I don't want to get political and start any arguments but I could see the controversial aspect of that. Who are you guys thinking?? I've been texting my buddy all morning about this but have yet to heard back.

I guess it could be Rocky Balboa since some Characters from the Rocky movies are featured in the WWE Champions mobile game. (This game also had legends like Mr T, Greg Valentine and Lou Albano before Mattel revealed there figs) Maybe with Hogan as Thunderlips.

Watched the same video and appreciate theman for taking the time to summarize. The point about his grandfather is probably the biggest tell. And I’d argue that I think you might be under on the grandfather’s age. If Kyle is 40, that probably puts his grandfather 80-85+. That probably eliminates some of the “younger” crossover options like Snoop, Bad Bunny… maybe even Tyson. Kauffman and Pete Rose both would be options more appropriate with that age group. Maybe even Lauper or something crazy like Liberace. |

My grandpa knows nothing of wrestling and men like him hated this guy for a controversial reason at the time. If this figure is not San Diego, con, it will be interesting to see what else it would possibly be for. This will have crossover appeal no doubt about it. Personally I would love Lawler Kaufman, 100 times more and it’s not Iron Mike.

Me and my buddy at the toy shop are really big fans of your channel and God bless your grandpa as well. I have no idea who this could be but my guess is going to be Pete Rose and Kane. Of course the thing I'm most nervous about for Comic Con is getting 1991 Python Power Hulk Hogan with the red bandana, yellow no tear hulk rules shirt with the winged ealge belt around Hulk's waist mint on card. Do you think we will eventually see that figure?? |

Georgeous George was controversial because of the robes and make up so manly men would have hated his flamboyant look. George was big in 1950s as well. Maybe Bruno is the anchor or Buddy Roger's but man that would be so niche nowadays.
