If it is indeed 2 separate Ali figures (boxing gear and ref gear), I wonder if it's a one-shot deal for Mattel? I would have thought it would make far more sense (business-wise) to just release one figure, then the other down the road... I'd love a (ref gear) Ali Retro too. Yeah I can’t think of any other Ali figure that they could make other than tan pants vs Gorilla but that would be a major peg warmer. That might have been cool for the SDCC exclusive...Ali and Gorilla 2-pack. Perhaps too obscure though. |

True, but those completists won't be getting Snuka in trunks any time soon. Snuka didn’t wear trunks at WrestleMania he wore black sweat pants and a black cut up tshirt. So we weren’t getting a trunks Snuka there anyway. And honestly whether he did it or not he was never convicted of anything because they waited too long to reopen it. And because of it he’s only accused so they could release one in the future if they feel like it. You can’t black ball someone over an accusation. That said I doubt we’ll see another Snuka from Mattel. My bad regarding what Snuka wore at WrestleMania 1. I haven't seen that PPV for ages and yes Snuka could possibly get released by powertown or another action figure company that isn't Mattel since the big companies are very political. |

If wwe says to make a snuka then it will be made and put in the Legends ultimate or elite line they still mention his name on TV every so often when tamina is in the ring.
Besides that his case is really no different from the Luger and Elizabeth one basically accidental death
And really the only people making a big deal over him or anything else old school wise just like Strongbow rvd and Rick Steiner is not all but mostly a majority of the younger generation which either don't care or know anything about wrestling or the history of it and the gimmicks or what they even are or mean because mainly they are all just soft sensitive entitled assclowns with nothing better to do with they're time than cry and complain about everything on the web that happened way before they're time because they think it's offensive to them now when nobody really had any problems at all with it back then in time when it all happened.
this is exactly why Mattel hasn't attempted to make anymore true obscure figures guaranteed if they try to rerelease Kamala right now someone would complain about it saying it's offensive to other cultures
And trust me if Benoit was to get proven that he was innocent from everything right now and have multiple figures lined up to get made they would try to find any reason they could to try and stop it from going into production
My apologies to the all og mods John,tom,the rest of ringside Steve, Bill,and Mattel but these are things that needed to be said on here for awhile now
Now back on track to the Muhammad Ali figure if it comes out since I bet someone ends up trying to get it cancelled before it's Sdcc release hopefully nothing is cloth on it because the ref body will be perfect for custom refs and announcers

Curious what other uses for two and three hands for someone with similar skin tone. I can’t think of anything. If they were white the 2 hands could be used for Beefcake, a custom Double J, that Billy Gunn tag team in AEW.

Yes, they were in a toxic relationship with violence involved, and perhaps she wouldn't have overdosed had she not been in that relationship, but that's not the same as Snuka's situation. |
