It’s going to be a Jeff Jarrett and Beetlejuice in Superman Outfit 2-pack Or an ultimate edition James Brown from when he had the dance off with Ernest Miller in WCW

No one wanted chief until they were told they couldn’t have him Wrestling figure collectors want what they can’t have - almost every threads littered with people not signed, who won’t be done for sensitivity or other reasons Not true. I wanted it, so did others. It wasn't the highest wanted figure, and wouldn't set any records for selling, but people would have bought it. Granted some did but Very few compared to those who complained about it

You know, that would be very Mattel If it is Ali, that I'm pretty sure was on no one's wwe figure want list, while we all wanted a dx/scsa Tyson and it's not him 😂 Very Mattel here if true. No one wanted chief until they were told they couldn’t have him Wrestling figure collectors want what they can’t have - almost every threads littered with people not signed, who won’t be done for sensitivity or other reasons I wanted it mainly for that head dress. That thing was awesome. Other than that, I don't care that an Italian from New Jersey cosplayed as an Native American.

Yeah I get they drift away from WWE to some degree for SDCC but it just is way off for me. There's maybe 10 other celebs I'd like to see figures of because of their accomplishments/moments/matches with WWE or other properties under the WWE umbrella. If we need to get this far off the path then maybe we can just go back to making WRESTLING characters that people want. I mean GI Joe has nothing to do with WWE and neither does Slim Jim but those were made. technically wwf had the slim Jim rights for years before savage left for wcw and took them with him over there until they got them back in the mid 00's and had edge and someone else doing the commercials it started with warrior then savage then diesel then bam bam then back to savage in wcw then edge

They were an advertising partner. The same as Mt Dew or Snickers or Chef Boyardee

Completing the WM1 main event would be high on my list. I have zero interest in the Attitude era, and none in Tyson outside of NES Punch-Out. U have to remember there's a lot more attitude heads then that era. There's a reason why attitude era boomed and is the greatest era as far as fan support. Nothing against it though, just numbers don't lie. I think you're underestimating the appeal of the Golden Era... as you said, the numbers don't lie 😉 Not necessarily. The attitude era's highest rated night was 8.1. When Hogan and Andre wrestled on network TV, they did a 15.2 (33 Million people watched that event).Favourite era to collect: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/374188/favourite-era-collect

I don't know... the wrestling boom of the 80's was huge - and longer - so I'd probably give the nod to the Golden Era having more fans. Not to mention, '80s nostalgia in general is really in at the moment...

In terms of collectors, I gotta think it's more attitude era fans currently living that collectively collect these figures. I’m not sure what you mean by “currently living.” It isn’t as if all the kids who were fans during the Hulkamania era are dropping like flies. We’re mostly in our late 30s-mid 40s, not our 90s.

I guess it could be Rocky Balboa since some Characters from the Rocky movies are featured in the WWE Champions mobile game. (This game also had legends like Mr T, Greg Valentine and Lou Albano before Mattel revealed there figs) Maybe with Hogan as Thunderlips. Do you play? If so, what faction you in?

No, but the 30s,40s, and 50s are. I also said collectively collect. A 30 year old in 1982 is 71 right now for example. I don't believe for a second there's many 70 year olds collecting action figures.

I think we're all over-thinking this.... based on the clues, I think it's:
Coliseum Collection Captain Lou Albano
* Typical Crossover Appeal - the Cyndi Lauper/Rock & Wrestling Connection, plus the Mario Bros. Stuff
* Controversial - I think his appearance as Cyndi Lauper's father in the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" video was controversial at the time? ...
* My Grandpa Hated Him - we mostly remember Captain Lou as a lovable guy.... but old timers remember that he was a heel manager who frequently feuded with "all time fan favorite" Bruno Sammartino.... so my "Grandpa" who was a Sammartino fan would most defintely have hated Captain Lou...
People have been asking for more Coliseum Collection releases and this would be a great way to "sneak" an extra on into the lineup!

Her song She Bop caused controversy at the time because it was about...ahem..."taking care of business".
