 Raw preview, May 22, 2023: Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar in the same arena!
Tonight, The American Nightmare and The Beast will be in the same arena for the first time since Lesnar brutally took Rhodes out of the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

 KO, Sami and Matt Riddle to collide with Imperium
After mocking Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium last week, then decisively beating the duo in the ring, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn made an enemy of Intercontinental Champion Gunther.
This past Monday, Owens and Zayn once again ran into Imperium, with the trio challenging the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions to find a partner to face them in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.

 Shinsuke Nakamura reintroduces Finn Bálor to his Kingdom of Strong Style
Tonight on Raw, The King of Strong Style will step inside the ring against Finn Bálor, an adversary he has faced in the past.
Nakamura has been on fire since coming to Raw, beating The Miz and coming just short of moving on from the first round of the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.
Bálor, meanwhile, has been running rampant on Raw with his volatile group The Judgment Day.
Bálor and Nakamura previously battled each other in NXT and for the Intercontinental Championship when they were on SmackDown. The last time these two warriors squared off, The King of Strong Style defeated Bálor to win the Intercontinental Title at Extreme Rules 2019.

If the tag champs were any other two babyface singles competitors put together to create a team, WWE wouldn't even give them a third team member. They'd have them beat the three man team in a handicap match and look good while doing it.

I seriously can't imagine paying to go see Raw live only for 90% of the show to be backstage nonsense you have to watch on a screen. They just refuse to wrestle on this show.
